Best Folk Albums of 2005!
Here it is, the results from our Best Folk Album of 2005 poll!

Thanks for the list! I must admit there are several artists here that I'm not yet acquainted with, so now I hae a list of new artists to check out.

Would anyone else, however, take exception to classifying the new Dar Williams album as one of the best this year? I am a HUGE Dar fan, but this CD has to be my least favorite of hers. I understand that artists change and progress with how they write and perform their music, but just by personal taste, I much prefer Mortal City, Honesty Room, etc to My Better Self. I listened to it once and put it away, sad that it didn't do anything for me.

Of course, just one girl's opinion.
