So one of my good friends and I were being silly late at night (er...early in the morning), and discussing a bizarre Sleeping Beauty-based story that will never see the light of day because nobody would understand it. At any rate, the discussion spawned three pictures:

Envy looking absolutely ridiculous. Don't ask about the catgirl. XD;;

Roy, Hughes, and Scar as the three fairies. Couldn't get Scar's dress to be the right color yellow but it's not like it really matters all that much. Roy (whom my friend plays in the RP this is all based off of) was not happy about being put in a dress, and complained loudly about it. I countered said complaining with the following picture.

So, a dear friend of mine and my husband and I are new to the doctor who fandom.

My friend is nuts over the 10th Doctor, played by David Tennant. (Some of you may know him from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he was Barty Crouch, Jr. in that pic.) The new Doctor Who is written by a fellow named Russel T Davies.

Well, long before WHO, Tennant and Davies worked together on a most interesting piece for Masterpiece Theatre, "Casanova" (this IS NOT your grandmother's MP Thea.) Anywho, she got the DVD to share so that we could revel more in our fangirling.

So, after all that, are you ready for the crack that had me rolling????

Just so y'all know, I love Scrubs. I decided when it went over to Comedy Central, I was going to fangirl it because I'd never been able to before.
So anyways, there is one episode where Elliot's boyfriend is accused of being controlling, or at least she is letting him control her. So, to prove that he isn't, he tells Elliot to shove the guy she's passing. She does. Then he says, "Why the hell did you do that? I was trying to prove that I'm not controlling you!"
Punchline here: "It's okay, that's Creepy Colonel. He runs an upskirt website."

My sister mentioned that she saw a license plate that she thought said, "Boy lovers for Ehrlic," which is really "Bay loves for Ehrlic."

Er, well, it isn't a democracy anymore, I guess, since I'm going to change the community now.
From here on out, anything funny related to Fullmetal Alchemist may be posted here.

Look out for a post on fm_alchemist about the changes. Basically, an ad. I can post a format so that people who are in other FMA communities can advertise there, and we can get lots of members and have lots of traffic and have lots of fun.

funny story: FMA manga vol 9 spoilers!

So, if you've already read vol 9, or you read the scanlations and have already passed #34-37 a long time ago, you, like my sempai, can get some amusement out of my angst.

Right, so I just got vol 9 this week, and did a flippy the size of Kansas re: Roy and Maria Ross. It's particularly bad for me because I write Roy, and to have him acting in such a way - even if it turns out not to be true, and no, I haven't read any further and please don't spoil me till I get a chance to catch up via the scanlations this week - just scared the living shit out of me.

The funny thing was when I freaked out to my sempai about this, these were his comments:

"I thought you liked it when your bishis get all angsty? I'm sure you can find a way to make this plot point be a lead-in to some kind of smut. 'Oh, Col. Mustang! Everyone thinks you've become a ruthless killer, but -I- know what a gentle man you -really- are' *chikka waa waaaaaaaa* "

I totally horked coffee out my nose. Apparently someone knows me entirely too well. The funniest thing is if you knew my sempai: he's all about the giant robots and thinks my "kissy boys" are ridiculous and never wants to hear it. And it TOTALLY squicks him out that I ship RoyxEd because Roy is his favorite character in FMA. Yet he was willing to buy me a whole stack of RoyxEdo doujins in Japan...! *loves her sempai*

His last comment: "Ugh. I feel dirty." ^_~

I've been thinking that maybe this community is too limited, and we should expand what we allow to be posted.
My meaning: the community should allow anything that is funny for the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom.
I was fearing that were I to allow anything for the fandom, there would be too much traffic. Things would get crazy. People would jump off buildings and snakes would be on zepplins. However, when you get maybe one post a week it looks like a good idea.

Please comment with your vote, yea or nay. (Or yes or no.)
If you vote nay/no, I'd like to hear why. (Though I doubt that'll happen.)

I figured this is as good a place as any to pimp this little lol-ful (but tiny) place of fandom mockage.

You see, there is a lot of stupidity in the gallery on this particular website. To the point that some of the regulars can't take it. Any more overused emotes and 'omg edward elric is my husband hes MIIINNNNEEE' and someone's gonna go postal one of these days.

When some of the n00bs in question stop by and notice our odd behavior, you can hear a big old 'WHOOSH'. None of them have gotten the joke so far. Which is kinda sad.
