THE END [18 Aug 2007|10:50pm] ani_art August 18, 2006 It's sad to say but after talking it over with Orca, fma_hush has decided to close it doors. I considered handing this over to someone else but it just wouldn't feel right to me. Fullmetal Alchemist was a great show but let's face it times are changing and "new" series are becoming more popular. I originally made this community because fma_awards had way too many icons per theme. I wanted help reduce the amount by making another community. I didn't know at the time how difficult running a "hush" community would be. It's been a fun ride and i'm glad to have shared it with all of you. I've been running this community for a year and a half now and i have no idea how I stayed sane ^_^ I'll be making sure that the main page is updated with any weeks i forgot and banner makers are still welcomed to finish up banners and post them. If you never recieved a banner please go to custom_banners. Thank you for everything and the memories :'( ~ Ani PS - The last theme wouldn't be posted for voting because we only had 1 usuable icon. Vote for "Border" Icons [06 Aug 2006|10:19pm] ani_art [ mood | determined ] I'm seriously considering some options with this community right now. I think my biggest problems is that "i'm" often not able to get to a computer to post reminders. I haven't yet decided but I may do one of a few things. 1. I may look for a few more Mods to run this community. 2. I may have a talk with orcapixels when she gets back from her trip about merging this community with fma_chorus. 3. I may simply conclude this community altogether. I admit that these days my themes haven't been as exciting, but running a hush community is really not as easy as other icontest communities. At the moment #1 is my strongest option. Get some new faces and new ideas in. I don't want this community to fade away. Fullmetal Alchemist is the best anime/manga out there, except for all the others that are my favorites too ;) I'll let you all know in the near future if I end up looking for new mods, or whatever the future holds for this community. You can make the border or you can use a brush. It doesn't matter. The border must be something that we can clearly see though. You can get many border brushes for both Photoshop and PaintShop through 100x100_brushes. And yes you can use mask borders as well.
