This Saturday, I'll be back downstairs at the Pyramid for the return of Sacrilege Saturdays. It's nice when people say, "get that other guy back," and they listen, and totally change their attitude. Please show up and show 'em just who the boss is.
Thursdays, starting June 15, I'll be at the Pyramid for Pandora's Jukebox, a "musical box of troubles," featuring rare New Wave, Punk, Ska, Newer Alt-rock, 90's Modern Rock, and more.

Well it's here! Tonight is the FLUX one year anniversary. Doors will open at 8pm.
We have a lot of happenings tonight including a performance by the HELLCAT GIRLS,
and a Live on stage performance by NoiTekk artist LIFE CRIED. Vending by: Infinity
Crafts, Jim Shoemaker enterprises, Salon Con and many more. Also we have tons
of giveaways including 60+ cd's and 200+ posters courtesy of Metropolis Records
and tickets to the Frontline Assembley show at the Trocadero. We have people
traveling from far away (Georgia, Florida, Ohio and Virginia) So it's shaping

If you have purchased an advance ticket for FLUX this saturday you can come on by and join us in the balcony bar at 6:00 to catch a little pre-party with 3 great bands playing (Clear Static, Shiny Toy Guns and Autovon). This will be an ALL AGES show till 9:00pm. At 9:00pm the doors will open in the Trocadero main room for FLUX where the dancing and entertainment begins!!! From 9:00pm - 2:00am it will be 18+ to enter 21+ to drink.
You can still purchase tickets at the TROCADERO box office or at tciketmaster.com

So yes FLUX re-opening was a huge success! Thanks for the overwelming positive feedback and I'm glad everyone had a blast. Both rooms were packed from begining until the doors closed! The next FLUX will be bigger and better in Feb. We will be booking an incredible NJ band that will add more entertainment to the night!

I recently heard that last week was going to be the final Flux Friday at Conduit, then I just read that even that final night has been cancelled.
So that means the Halloween show was the last night. I am going to miss everybody whose last name or e-mail I never got. Not having the chance to say goodbye reminds me all too much of how the owners treated us at the Melody in 2001. We all showed up that Tuesday night, ready to pour drinks and DJ 80's new wave for our loyal Melody-ites, only to find that the bar had to be closed, because the insurance had not been paid.
At least Flux got some warning, and could send out the information, but I will wager that there will still be people who show up, and never will find out what happened until much later.
One thing I have never understood is how club owners sometimes seem like they are not interested in the night being a success, almost as if they are actively BLOCKING people who know what they are doing to make the night a success. Plus, I don't get how people who do not already know and love music would want to open up a dance club in the first place.
I feel so bad for Joe, Pete, Lea, and everyone else. Philly is just too far for me to go regularly, so I guess it's QXT's...sigh. |

| Oh boy! I'm beat!! |

Friday's show it putting me into a craze! LOL. I had to go up to north jersey tonight just to pick up the drum kit Decoded Feedback will be using. Tix are selling stronger the last 3 days online and now looks like we'll have a well attended show ;-) Tix this time sold way better than Grendel show which is good since this is an exclusive show and the expenses are much more ;-)
Friday will be a huge day by getting up at 7:00am and heading right to the airport to pick the 3 members up and than they want to head to Metropolis Records to say hi. After that off to their hotels rooms. Than i have to pick up the lights we'll be using for the show and head to Conduit to drop them off..HUH!! Than back home, pack up even more, and head back to the club for setup and sound check.. Looks like we'll have nice weather which is always good for people traveling.
Hope to see you all there. I'm sure most of you won't miss it. We have a lot planned and should be FLUX FRIDAYS best night to date. Thanks again and see you friday! I appreciate all your support!
