AboutI know that there are those among you who don't care for Valentine's Day, or Singles Awareness Day, as my cousin calls it. But if you were all here, or if we were all where you are, wouldn't we make it a grand day indeed? So to celebrate Valentine's Day this year, I'm hosting the Make The World Brand New Valentine's Day Flist-A-Fest!
The way it works is this. The fest opens next Monday, January 21st. I'll make a post in the community and you reply to the post and I'll give you your prompt (just as soon as I finish the list). Please feel free to start posting once you flip your calendar over to February 1st
(God, I've got a lot of rules this time around, huh? Sorry about that.)
The fest was originally meant to be a drabble fest (100-300 words), but please feel free to write as much as you want. You will have until February 14th to post, BUT if you want to good package that goes along with participation, you need to post by February 8th Oh yes, I said goodies. Everyone who participates (and who feels comfortable sending me their addy) gets goodies. Because if I could, I’d spend the day with everyone of you. But since I can’t, this is the next best thing.
The inspiration for this fest belongs to The Weepies and is sponsored by my sister, Heather Anne. She rocks. Learn it, love it.
If you take these, could you credit them to the fest?
