NOLA So I have to be down in the NOLA area for a few day for a funeral and I figure while I'm down there I might as well try to do something cool.
Anyone have any recommendations for stuff to do/places to eat/places to drink/industrial clubs to go to that I could hit up this Thursday through Saturday?
thanks. |

I was having a conversation the other night about how Andrew Eldritch is a complete tit, and (naturally) that brought up Flem.
I realized then that Flem was kind of my gateway drug to webcomics. It was the first one, at least, where I went back to the very first strip and then read the entirety of it.
So I was wondering, what was your gateway drug to webcomics? Was it worth it in the end?
Flem definitely was, for me, and every time I find myself going back to reread the archives, I find something new that I hadn't noticed was hilarious previously, either because it was a reference I didn't yet get, or something I'd simply glossed over and had the chance to rediscover.
And, man, Hank never ceases to be a source of delightful off-color jokes. |
