AboutFlashslash exists to stir up those creative juices a little!
Every Thursday, a pair of prompts are posted behind an lj-cut, each containing four words. Your mission is to write a piece of fiction using the four words in eight minutes, starting from the moment you open the cut!
It is, by the way, much easier than it sounds :) If you haven't done it before, please do, however, take the time to read the full instructions here before you play.
If you're posting here: Remember that the idea behind this exercise is simply to access the subconscious, creative part of your brain. Tidy, rather than edit. Don't fret about what other people are writing: just do what you need to.
PLEASE PUT ALL POSTS BEHIND CUTS AND DO NOT INCLUDE THE PROMPTS BEFORE THE CUT. Any entries accidentally breaking this rule will immediately be deleted, since they spoil the game for everyone else.
Anyone can post, member or not. If you are not a member, click the blue pencil in the small blue toolbar on this Community Information page.
