If so, you'll LOVE this.

The idea: You a a galactic miner working for the ESCorp. Collect minerals (space money), accomplish missions, upgrade ur mining envelope, and so on.

Alphabounce is amazingly addictive, 4 sum raisen. Especially since I normally hate Breakout.

I have nothing else to say. :D

PLAY IT!

----------------------------------------------
Sorry about the super quick post.
5. Motion-Twin Rules (Part 4/5)

Hey, juys.

I'm out of cool openings, so here's part 4.
--------------------------------------
2. The Caverns of Hammerfest

Do you like Bubble Bobble? If so, there's a good chance you'll like this one.

The story, as told by Jayisgames:

"You are Igor, a plucky snowman whose carrot-nose has been stolen by an evil magician named Tuber, who has also enslaved an entire race of intelligent, "super-vitiminized" (the translation is a bit strange in places) fruit. To regain your precious nose and free the fruit-people, you must battle your way through over 100 levels of pitch-perfect platforming action, collecting a massive variety of items and rediscovering just how bad you are at video games."

The gameplay: You have 'ice bombs' that, when they explode, encase any nearby enemies in an ice cube AND send them flying away at high speed. To defeat enemies, simply blow them off the platforms till they reach the bottom; they will turn into crystals that then fall from the top of the screen. Collect one=score increase. That's it for basic gameplay.

The ace in the hole that makes it worthy of the number 2 spot: the item system.

Not only r there over 300 items to collect, there is a 'fridge' that serves as a list of what items and how many you have of each, as well as 'quests' that has you collecting certain items to unlock new ones, among other things (example: collecting five telephone items will give you a discount on buying plays).

My only complaint about Hammerfest is that you HAVE to make a purchase at the shop to unlock free plays on a regular basis, and even then you only get four games a WEEK. Other that that, though, Hammerfest is awesome, but it's not as good as the next (and last) game...
---------------------------------------------------
...and you'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out what it is. Mwahahahaha!

1-2-3-C U L8R,
-Bloohoo :)

Update, 4/25/08: Heh, forgot the link. PLAY IT!

I'm trying to make a flash movie that consists of a grid of thirty squares (called boxes in my movie). Each box is a movie clip. In each box movieclip is 9 different image movie clips. Each image movie clip is animated so that it will fade in for 20 frames and fade out for 20 frames. A stop(); is coded for frame 1 and frame 20 of each image movie clip.

The code below is in my main movie. I want the boxes to randomly fade in with a random image, stay for a random amount of time, and then fade out. So that the end result is a grid of images that randomly fade in and out continuously. As of right now, it does not work. The movie is just blank.

Is my context bad? Am I going about it in the wrong way? Thanks everyone.

**Btw, randRange creates a random number between (and including) the two numbers you drop into it.
