| About: | This community was created for the complete We are, in fact, a sub-community of ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} sg_origin_app, a group set up to appreciate the various actors of the Stargate Atlantis world, in a some what similar fashion to here. More details are on that community's userinfo. You should be a member of both this community and that one, as they're part of the same set up. This community is on approved membership, so if you haven't contacted one of the mods already, it would be a good idea to join sg_origin_app first, so we know who you are.01 - Thou shalt not bash. 02 - Thou shalt remember the difference between actor and character. 03 - Thou shalt respect others, even though they may dissagree. 04 - Thou shalt hold Joe Flanigan above all others as the Supreme Deity, though there may be others. 05 - Thou shalt keep all that is long, large or many in number behind walls (this means LJ cuts) 06 - Thou shalt label all content of a slashy or shippy nature and any images related to under a cut, period. The end. 07. - Thou shalt not post or link to real person fiction, period. These are real live people, and there are boundaries we will not be crossing in this particular sect. 08 - Thou shalt not post graphic photo manipulations of a sexual nature, be it het or slash, on this comm. 09 - Thou shalt have fun. 10 - Thou shalt not reveal secrets of one sect to another. 11 - Thou shalt honor thy moderators (For they may put on their bitch bonnets and ban your ass!) This is a key one. Some people may have issues with slash. The reasons are many, some religous, some not, and though many may disagree we must all respect this. Even when we do not understand. Similarly, some people may have issues with this, in and of itself, or just not want to see het pairings, or things relating to them. Thus, anything of a slashy nature should go underneath a cut. And anything of a shippy nature should go under a cut. In fact, if you are inferring to romance, you should probably put it under a cut, with something above it saying which pairing it is. It's odd, I know, but as these communities were set up to cater to all people, with all their views on things and is based on a religion, it seems appropriate. And the only way to go about things with out making this an all out gen base-community. Also, everything long or graphics heavy behind a cut please, with only the teasers/basic info above it in the case of icons and fan fiction. This is more for when you want so share some work with all sects, and not just your own, or for if we have competitions.
