A one-off man mental
I spent a pleasant afternoon not too long ago going through the whole archives of this comm, and it made me very happy in all kinds of places.

I noticed however that the Morris had been mentioned a couple of times but without sufficient pictorial evidence of his hawtness.  And also that MOAR DENHOLM was required.

So I... may have screencapped The Day Today and Brasseye a little bit, if anyone is interested.  I'd advise anyone on dial-up not to be interested.

Here is young and rather adorkable Morris.

"My big hand is on the twelve, I am on the hour!"

The show that made me completely unable to take televised news seriously.

He makes a strangely alluring woman, too.

And has lovely curly hair.

And now Denholm.  In that outfit, who wouldn't?

He is secretly a very troubled man.  That's what £6 billion does to a man.

It's not just the Morris, Brasseye and The Day Today have other shiny things.  Like Mark Heap!

and... Patrick Marber?  c'mon, Peter O'Hanraha-hanrahan is adorable.

I'm done now.  I will go get the help I so desperately need.  xD

it's true! I bought Big Train recently and I've been watching that a lot. I love Heap.

Oh God! Big Train boasts not only some fantastic female talent (Rebecca Front!) but also a trinity of ManSex in the forms of Pegg, Heap and my personal favourite, The Actor Kevin Eldon, who shouldn't by rights be sexy but really, really is.

:D Glad I'm not a complete freak, then!

I think it's the eyebrows. I'm a fool for a good pair of eyebrows on a chap.

*giggles* Oh yes; eyebrows are marvellous things - I'm often complimented on my eyebrow-wiggling abilities! Without sounding too pervy, I tend to melt into a small, wibbly puddle when I watch that episode of Spaced in which he and Mark Gatiss play government agents. I wouldn't mind being interrogated by him, wahey, etc, insert own innuendo here. ^^

Black Books.

'Dirty.'

Mmm.

You do indeed need to watch Big Train, though. It has paper bikinis and everything.

Never has a mint-green suit looked better. *makes self smudgy*

Paper bikinis? Methinks this sounds awesome. :D

YES! I love Rebecca Front, though I've only watched series one so far. I'm going to snuggle down on the sofa and watch series two later today :D

I have been tempted recently by Kevin Eldon. Mainly because he's absolutely brilliant. I'm relieved to see I am not wrong. And on a related note the moment I saw that bit in your icon I knew it needed to be made into an icon. Yay!

They didn't make good use of the female comedians in S1, unfortunately - no wonder they both left! S2 is still heavy on the gentlemen, but uses the women a lot better. Rebecca Front is just a star - she's got this superficial nervous sweetness that's really disarming when she's dealing with material that's actually pretty dark and twisted. Enjoy S2!

Oh, the sexy puppet sketch makes me cry with laughter. It's so stupid, and so simple, yet so very, very funny.

*points at your icon* Aaaahhh! Another man who really shouldn't be sexy but is! I reckon he uses his show to send out subliminal messages making people fancy him.

They didn't. Graham Linehan made that point in the commentary during the sketch with Amelia Bullmore and the train.

The sexy puppet sketch made me laugh so much. Simon Pegg's reaction was just so unexpected, I practically fell off my seat laughing. Oh, my.

I HAVE ALWAYS SUSPECTED THAT. Derren Brown is very sexy, with his little goatee! Plus I always find it adorable when he gets all excited because the trick's going well. XD when he and Reece Shearsmith were on the same stage together, I almost exploded.

Heeeeeaaaaaaaap! Yes. Oh yes.

So glad that Spaced is finally on region 1 DVD. Well, for many reasons, but Mark Heap is one of them.

Lordy, I didn't realise Mark Heap was so good-looking! I've only ever seen him in Green Wing with that ridiculous tache!! Thanks for opening my eyes...;)

I really recommend Spaced - in the first episode he appears (mostly) naked. (Me, shallow, never.)

I realise I am epically late to this post, but ooooooooooooh baby @ everything you've posted.
Peter O-Hanraha-hanrahan is my favourite news reporter of life, fictional or otherwise, Mark Heap is just all kinds of hot, and Chris Morris is a genius.

"Can you imagine the fear of knowing that there's a gay man on board? You'd be thinking, "My God. Will I wake up and find everybody dead?"

if you're gonna be late, you may as well make it epically so.

I quote Chris Morris stuff way too much. I'd engage in a quote-off but it'd get lengthy. I'm currently trying to introduce everyone I know to the brilliance of Peter O'Hanraha-hanrahan because my generation JUST missed out on The Day Today. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.
