Eeeh hehehhe, so um. I think I said I'd draw this maybe...five months ago? :x

So, I can spend five months not having a clue what to do with it, and then get the whole thing drawn and colored in an afternoon. Yup, I'm pretty cool like that >->;

This took my way longer than it should have, because I kept getting really distracted and stalling. But it was a lot of fun to do, and I got to practice doing different facial types in little half-chibi form. ^^;

Axel is a coral snake -- skinny, cute, red and black. Poisonous.
Roxas is a bitty rattlesnake -- he's even got the eyeridges that make him always look crabby. ^^
The worst part, for Roxas, besides missing his hinder, is that his tail is a TRAITOR. He's trying to look cool and uneffected, but his tail gives him away by going SHOOKA SHOOKA SHOOKA quite without his permission.

I have been coloring this pic for upwards of six hours now, in an attempt to get myself to not hate it anymore. I tend to just give up on things when they're not going the way I want, and am then ever more unhappy with the piece. But I wanted to like this one. I tried really hard.

I don't hate it completely anymore, which is a big step up from this morning! :D

Okay, so. Explaination, brief: laylah writes an adorable AU wherin Demyx goes to Midgar to live with his cousin Zack (yes, that Zack)(voice actor yayzoz) and joins a band because he really just wants to sing, sing sing --

And uh, second part of Explaination: luco_millian draws and adorable plushie comic, and wanted a poster from Demyx's band to stick in the background somewhere.

This is not the poster. The poster will be pretentiously artisitcally cropped and, of course, finished. This is the sketch though. I have to go start another piece so I have my three done for class tomorrow, but I hope to finish this up this weekend.

I'm really happ with how it's coming out -- especially because I've never drawn someone with a guitar or anything similar before. I changed the sitar a little, just because Midgar is SLIGHTLY more realistic in nature (I think) than KH. Sorta.

I thought Zack was a pretty good choice, given that I was just scribbling, and Zack's hair looks like a big pile of scribbles IN CANON, so.

Wow, me trying to draw real people! ...um. Yes. I was feeling very strange, drawing wise tonight, but I kind of like the overall end product ^^ I hope you do~ Behold my amazing gigantic-ass chair! :D

In the first draft, they had pants. But then I really wanted to draw little stick legs, and goofy looking feet. So now they're in boxer-short style jammies. Jammies!

Pretty much worksafe, except for, you know, snuggles and Axel with no shirt. Hell, I've been unemployed forever; I have no idea.

SO. Like, last July I asked for a sketch-exchange bit that sakkiarte ran, and through some sort of really awesome manuevering on MY part, apparenlty I failed to get her her sketch. I R WIN. >-> I'm fairly certain that picture sucked anyway. Not the point.

And inspiring! I tried a new coloring technique. For the win? Well, I can't tell -- I think it came out okay, even if the shadows aren't as extreme as I usually prefer them. I do really like how smooth all the colors came out though.

You'd think I didn't go out and actually do things today or something.

Today was a day for impromptu gifts, it seems. Two quick little drawbles w/color that I did in like, twenty minutes, for people who are cool.

Gah, lag over here, lately. ^^ All my hardwork has gone into Bijou this month -- I've done three full color pics in the last two weeks, and they've all been...sort of an experiment in color, too. I'd post them here -- I'm very proud of them, because I love the sense that I'm making progress and learning -- but that sort of feels like it invalidates the purpose of the community for Bijou. C'est la vie. I'll just have to try harder for here, ne?

So it turns out moving across the country is harder than it sounds. I got nothing drawn. Since the move, I have drawn approximately three and a half things -- Dark Cloud ShotaNeko porn, Axel teasing Roxas and...uh...there must have been something else. Maybe not. I'll scan those later.

Tonight I made this! This is a landmark for me: The first ever time I have drawn fan-art for a webcomic. I Rec'd this comic over at my journal the other day and well...I really like it, okay? >->

Considering I only spent two hours tops on all of this, I'm quite proud of it.

There was some rain and a threat of possibly snow today, so of course all the customers decided it was perfectly reasonable to no-show. That's fine, I didn't want to wash their stupid dogs anyway.
