Console Fishing Game list

I know its been quiet and its been awhile since anyone has posted anything here, but while the ice is melting and I'm getting anxious for that open water, I went out and inventoried all the fishing games I own (console systems only).

I’m NOT going to try to count Fishing games made for the PC because that would be rather insane and to be honest, anything old for the PC is impossible to find and won’t run on a modern computer without an emulator and its not worth the hassle. All of these games in BOLD that I own still run on the original console fully well. I was going through and doing reviews of these games; and its been so long I might just do a new set of reviews instead starting from the bottom and working my way up.

This is the most comprehensive list I put together that of console fishing games that were released in the US. My goal is to someday collect them all. I am NOT interested in importing games in languages I CANNOT read or need an imported system to play them on.

Ones I own are BOLD. Ones I am missing are therefore in plain text. I might upload this list to Wikipedia at some point if I get bored enough. If the game is CROSS PLATFORM I only have it listed for the console I own it for, and I don’t feel that its neccsary to own every version of the game either. I’ll only list the game on all the platforms if theres something I’m missing.

I was at one point doing reviews of these games waay back when. I might either pickup or restart that project someday.

Nintendo 8 bit

The Black Bass
The Blue Marlin

Sega Genesis

King Salmon- the Big Catch
Bass Master’s Classic
TNN Outdoors 96

Super Ninetendo

Bassin’s Black Bass
Bass Master’s Classic: Pro Edition
Jimmy Houston’s Bass Tournament USA
Mark Davis: The Fishing Master
Super Black Bass
TNN Bass Tournament of Champions

Sony Playstation (one of the longest, trying to figure out what I’m missing here)

Action Bass
Big Bass Fishing
Big Bass World Championship
Reel Fishing
Reel Fishing 2
Bass Landing
EA Championship Bass
Black Bass with Blue Marlin
Fishermans Bait a Bass Challenge
Saltwater Sport Fishing
Bass Rise
Fisherman’s Bait 2: Big Ol’ Bass
Bass Hunter (This MAY be ported to the N64 as Basshunter 64- I am having a LOT of difficulty finding info on this game- It may have not had a US release)
ESPN Great Outdoor Games: Bass Fishing
Monster Bass!

(according to Wikipedia and a few other sources I am only missing 3-4 fishing games for the psx)

Nintendo 64

In-Fisherman Bass Hunter 64
Bass Masters Classic 2000

Dreamcast

Sega Bass Fishing
Sega Marine Fishing
Reel Fishing: Wild

Sega Bass Fishing 2

Playstation 2

Again a ton of fishing games for the PS2. Because this is more recent and many of these games were in a lot smaller productions then any of the other consoles, my completeness of my PS2 collection needs some work. PSX and my missing Dreamcast Game will be my next priority once I get employed again

Reel Fishing III
Fisherman’s Bass Club
Mark Davis: Pro Fishing
Rapala Pro Fishing
Legend of the River King: A Wonderful Journey (PS2 sequel of the Gameboy Fishing RPGs by Natsume.)

Bass Strike (Rare- possible to find but EXPENSIVE)
Cabela’s Monster Bass (New Game, is still very common on store shelves. Also coming for the Wii but PS2 version is cheaper)
Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures (combo Fishing and Hunting)
Cabela’s Alaskan Adventures (sequel combo hunting and fishing game. Brand new)
Sega Sports- Bass Fishing Duel
Top Angler- Real Bass Fishing
Fisherman’s Challenge (RARE- hard to find even on E-Bay)

Gamecube

The Gamecube, as far as I can tell has NO UNIQUE fishing games for the console. A number of the PS2 games have Gamecube versions but the Gamecube version is often ten times harder to find.

Xbox

I do not, as of current own any fishing games for the Xbox. I just got the system not too long ago. I have no intentions of getting a 360 or a PS3 any time soon, they are just too outrageously expensive (as are the games)

Bass Pro Shops: Trophy Bass 2007
Pro Fishing Challenge (this one looks BAD like, REALLY BAD. But I know where I can get it and it is unique to the Xbox)
Pro Cast: Sports Fishing (done by Capcom. This one looks really interesting…)

These are the UNIQUE games I could find for the console. There are lots of cross platform games from the PS2 such as the cabelas games and Rapala Pro fishing. Again, no reason to own more then one version for a console system anyways.

Portable Systems:

Portable systems are a special case. Because of the vastly different hardware, or the fact that the game wasn’t released at the same time as the console versions most of the “cross platform” games here are unique, even if they are re-makes they are vastly different from the original version. As such, my goal is to eventually get all the portable games regardless if it shares a name with one I already own.

Gameboy/Gameboy Color

Black Bass: Lure Fishing (there are two versions of this game, the original and the black cartridge which provided support for the gameboy color. I only own the original. If I find the color version cheap I may pick it up)
Legend of the River King
Bass Master’s Classic

Zebco Fishing
TNN Outdoors: Fishing Champ
Legend of the River King 2
Super Black Bass (RARE)

Gameboy Advance

ESPN: Great outdoors 2002
American Bass Challenge

Monster Bass
Rapala Pro Fishing (again, different from console games)

Nintendo DS

I have played both games for the Nintendo DS and am NOT impressed. The problem is they are made by the same company and are just pretty much straight ports of OLD fishing games, except made harder. The graphics on both are the same-reused graphics that Starfish licensed from Hot B from the mid 90’s on the SNES. I will eventually get these if they become less then $10-15 a piece but this seems unlikely.

Super Black Bass (sound familiar??)
Professional Fishermans Tour: Northern Hemisphere

PSP

As far as I know, only two fishing games for the PSP exsist, and I own both of them. They are both solid games.

Rapala Fishing: Trophies
Reel Fishing: The Great Outdoors (has a different name for Europe for some reason but is the Identical game)

Wii

Since Wii games are INSANELY EXPENSIVE as its brand new and all that, these lie very LOW on my priority list. All of them are $30-50.
At this point, I’ll consider my collection complete if I can complete it up to the PS2 and Xbox since again, most of these games are available used.
I may get one or two fishing games just so I can say I have a fishing game for the Wii. As this is also the most likely system to get NEW fishing games (though the PS2 might get one or two more before its done) its hardly an archive system at this point for collecting the games. Nevertheless I will still add the games that I can find for the Wii to the list.

Rapala Pro Fishing (uses Wii controls so I will flag it as being “technically” a different game)

Hooked (has a bundle that includes the fishing controller. If I spend money on one Wii Fishing game this one has a good chance of being it)

Sega Bass Fishing (uber common at Best Buy, as if they are trying to emphasize Sega Sports is still alive)

Fishing Master
Haven't posted here in awhile... Does anyone still read this community?

We've had an unseasonably warm start to spring up here. I only went Ice fishing twice this year because I didn't do all horribly good the two times I went out and it was a really bizare winter.

However we have an early start to the spring/ open water fishing season. It was 82 degrees F yesterday and has been over 60 for the last week and a half. Most of the lakes around here are ICE FREE in March. So I'm hoping to get an early start this year.

I went out for the first time yesterday to the river, it was still a bit early and the waters were almost at flood stages so nothing was biting at all. But it is saying something when its too hot to be out in jeans and a T-shirt in March in a Northern state. Regardless of not catching anything... it was a great day to be out enjoying what I couldn't a month ago.

So I live in Northern California. Right now it's pretty cold and cloudy. I am just going crazy dreaming about next year, and the fish I will catch during the spawn. I just got a Daiwa Veinto from my husband for my birthday in October. So I didn't get to use it much. I will be looking foward to going out next year with my family to find the one fish I will be bragging about all year. Right now I'm just dreamin'.

Attack of the Turtles!

I hadn't had the boat out for awhile now, so I thought I would do something special last night. For the first time in 3 weeks we had a wensday where the tempature was decent here (80's, still got hot on the boat and had to make a water break- but it was not baking hot); so I decided to take the boat out to the St Croix river.

Winded up getting lost on the way there once, had to back track but still made it there at a decent time. Turned out I was an idiot and didn't charge the battery for the fish finder. If I would have been farther north I would have turned around and not went fishing, but this stretch of the river was wide with few obstructions- I knew it well. My spot was just on the other side of the river, and was well marked from the shoreline, so I didn't need the LCD.

Fished for the first two hours and got two nice catfish right in a row, (kept one released one. Fresh catfish dinner for me tommorow!) missed a few strikes on the catfish rod and caught a few mooneye. Then I caught a turtle. A little painted turtle, though I couldn't get the hook out after trying for 30 minutes; it was buried deep in the middle of its tounge. I didn't want to hurt it, so I put it in the livewell cooler with the catfish and drove back to the boat launch (I had a second reason for doing this- me not thinking ahead didn't bring any extra water, and I was starting to get really de-hydrated.) There was a DNR officer there, I took the turtle to her and see if she had any ideas. We eventually just used the pliers to cut the hook shank leaving only the barb inside the turtle, and off he went.

Drove to the office, filled up a few bottles with water, then returned to the boat and went back to my spot.

This is when it became wierd. The catfish were gone. The turtles invaded. Generally when evening comes the catfish go nuts. Either the turtles got them out of their hole or were getting to the bait first. After I returned all I got were turtles on the cat rod. Another painted turtle, this time not hooked that deep- I was able to unhook it; and then something MUCH bigger.

At first I was pretty confident I had hooked a really big catfish. It was fighting like a catfish- it was using all its effort to keep on the bottom, and only really started fighting hard when I was trying to raise it to the surface. It turned out to be a HUGE snapping turtle about 3'-4' in diameter. It would have likely weighed 30-50 lbs; so it offically marks the biggest thing I've ever caught (but not a fish)

I wasn't of course going to try to wrastle it into the boat nor even try to get the hook out. Snapping turtles are somewhat nasty- and have the tendancy to be able to make big gashes or take off fingers with their sharp and powerful jaws. I cut the leader with the fillet knife as I got it near the boat.

The other rod? I was catching sunfish yes BLUEGILLS on the St Croix river! They were all over the place! Normally they are rare on the river, but for some reason tonight I happened to find a large school of them mixed in with the Mooneyes. I didn't do anything on the cat rod after the snapper but the action for the mooneyes and sunfish on the other line was pretty steady. I must have got about 20 mooneye and 6 or 7 sunfish (I would have had more had I been using angleworms and a panfish sized hook).

Memorial Weekend Fishing

Well this weekend i fortunate to get out fishing. I went with my family to Lake Carlos State Park, where i spent all of saturday fishing. I caught a total of 7 bass and 3 pike. I kept one pike because i had hooked it somehow in its gills and it was bleeding an awful lot. so i kept it to eat. I was having strikes only on perch colored lures and on a steady retrieve. At 5 o'clock my dad came and asked when i wanted supper, and i said "I dont care, just come get me when you want to eat" (i would be having to clean the pike and such so i would need some time).

WELL, somewhere around 5:30 i got a BIG hit, at first i thought it might be a big pike, but when it got close to the dock, i saw it was a bass!! i didnt have a net and my only thoughts were to grab onto it and not let go...

so i reached down, grabbed the jaw, and immediately began to put it on my stringer before it would get away...

Then i became excided! I couldnt have guessed how much it weighed at the time, but i would find out later. I called my dad and told him to buy a camera, since no one had brought one (d'oh!). When he came back, pictures were took, and i cleaned and ate her. she was mighty tasty.

the final measurements were 18 inches long, 11.5 inch girth. my digital scale wasnt working right, but from equations and estimating she was about 3 lbs. the pike measured to be 18 inches too.

here are some bad pictures of me with the bass...

hope y'all had as much fun as i did this weekend!

-ben

so yesterday i was able to go fishing. tuesday i went out and got my fishing license, and found out that wisconsin DID up their out-of-state license fees, so now its $50! ehat a rip-off.
so anyways, yesterday i went down to a lake right by my house and fished of a bridge for about 3 hours or so. i caught about 25 to 30 sunfish between 4 and 5 inches and a shiner about the same size. I had to stop when the wind was too much of a hastle and the clouds, (some of them dark), were moving in. They werent hitting anything artifical yet so i used my berkley power bait natural stuff. it works great. hopefully ill be able to get out more, but if not im spending every day from june 7th to august 13th fishing. Im working at a boy scout camp and im the marina director. i teach kids the fishing and fly fishing merit badges... plus i only work 8 hours a day so thats plenty of time for me to fish otherwise.

-ben

I wonder if anyone still reads this LJ community. Its been slow, and I guess its partially my fault for being as inactive as I have been as of late with it. O.o

Anyways, just touching base here. Only got out a few times ice fishing this year since it was slow and Open Water is my real domain up here. With the rain and warmer temps, the lakes up here in Minnesota are ALMOST ice free.

Time to re-spool the line on the open water gear. I might even get out on the river this week, which has been open for some time but is likely still pretty in-active by shore.

Rule of thumb I've found for panfish on smaller lakes atleast: They won't start being fishable from shore till about a week after complete ice-out. The boat won't come out until May.

So who else here is ready for some springtime fishin? :)

Fishin has slow since the new year for me. Haven't hooked a fish other then a chub.

So my buddy and I headed out to the river yesterday. What a great day and beautiful weather. I started off the day with loosing a nice mint hen. Was I ticked, lol. I made up for it with the next cast on landing a smaller hen that was chrome. She looked to of been doing battle with a pike. My buddy ended up catching 2 steelies later on that were one the small side but pretty none the less. We did see a bald eagle flying around. Something you never see down state or some of the other rivers I fish.

We moved around quite a bit but didn't have any luck once we left that hole. After getting home and talkin to a knowledgeable resource it sounds like I was fishing too deep. Lesson learned!

We then moved to another section of river with limited sucess. I did get into a scrappy little fighter of a brown. Right when it was almost too dark to tie a knot my buddy tied into a strong native steelhead. This fish put up an excellent fight in cold water. Def. put a great end to the trip. Snapped a pic with the point and shoot and off he went. Hopefully i'll get him in a few weeks

If it wasn't for gas being so high, I know where I would be on saturday, lol

Today, friday, I headed to another river in search of the mighy steelhead. The weather was COLD with a little bit of wind. Plus some rain and a mixture of snow at times. Once again my fishing partner was down there and I found him in a hole that produced alot of salmon for us. Guess he had already had a great day with going 3-4. We then searched for some steelhead and finally found one. Bill made a drift towards the fish and he went for it but turned around. 3 drift through, bobber down, and FISH On!!! After takin his time with landing the fish, it was in the net. What a pretty little chrome hen.

The north wind was pickin up so we gave it another hour. Then we headed in in hopes of a good day tomarrow.

Christmas eve, got patted down by the cops for "tresspassing." We were looking for a place to hang out and get away from the christmas party. Thank god we didn't get into any trouble that rsulted in me with less money, lol

Yesterday, went down to the river where I hooked that steel christmas day. Water was up but perfect stain. Talked to a guy that had been fishing all days with no luck. I stepped in up river of him and hit a fish on my second drift through. Put up a decent fight and I landed a small 23 inch female. Perfect, because I needed some eggs. I pounded that hole and had one more hit but missed it. Moved on down with no luck. White bags were the ticket with a white jig.

Got home, tied up some fresh spawn bags.

Went out searching for some land to hunt but no luck. Then it was off to the river where again on my second cast I nailed another steelie. At first I thought it was a bigger one because it started of taking some drag. Then it surfeced and basically gave up. It was a smaller one with beautiful colors on it. It was then released. Another caught on a white bag. I walked alot of river, just checking it out since I haven't fished down there in awhile. Same program as yesterday.

What a great couple of days. If I can't find a hunting spot in the afternoon, I know where i'll be tomarrow night and saturday night.

Christmas steelheading

When I woke up at 10 AM I looked outside and saw over cast skies and my first thought was steelie fishing. Not the presents under the tree or all the good food I was going to eat. I went down stairs and did the usual. After that I kept looking outside and was wanting to go. Usually I wouldn't ask, I would just go, but being christmas I didn't want to be rude. My mom knew and told me to get out, but be home at 2:30. I was out the door in a flash and on the river at 1:15.

Of coarse when I pulled into the parking lot the rain started. I put on a white spawn bag and made a cast. This hole usually does not produce but with all the reading I have been doing I figured I was fishing it wrong. I decide to let it sweep around and up against the other side of the current. I knew there were alot of snags around. My bobber slowing went under, like it was snagged on something. So I gave it a little jerk and knew I was going to regret it. Sure enough there was a steelie on the end and it came up head shaking and threw the hook back and me...figures. Had 2 other bobber downs that I was sure was fish but missed them both. They were takin small bags in chartruse and white.

Thought I was going to get it when I walked in 10 minutes late but thank god the pistons distracted them:)

Anyone else get out?? Hopefully you all had a very nice christmas!

Steelie fishing with some Deer hunting

Bowhunting101
This is a little old but I guess it’s better late then never, right?? My plans for last weekend were to catch some steelies and shoot a deer. Having to get through school with all this excitement was quite hard.

I was suppose to sleep Wednesday night but I couldn’t and found myself on the road at 5 am, thursday. Next stop...the ditch.

Road were as clean as your house when you have a date over. No snow, nor ice were on the road until I found a field with snow drifts. Hit one doing about 45 and there was nothing I could do. The snow drift was as long as the field. Thank God there were willing people to be late to work to try and help me out. Finally, after half an hour being stuck, I was on the road again.

I fished a northern pier head but didn’t bother going out far. No hits, no errors.
Then it was off to meet up with my buddy Luke. The next question was whether to hunt or fish. We opted to lay a little corn out and give the river a try. The weather was perfect, over cast and nice warm temps. Luke hooked up with the first 2 steel and lost both. I was next and followed what he did.

Next hole after a few drifts I tied into this nice hen. First steelie trip of the season and I get my first steelie of 05/06 on fresh steelie skein wrapped in chartruese bags.
.

Luke then followed with a handful of fish including this beautiful skipper. The pic doesn’t do justice.

This pic of this skipper doesn’t do it justice.

Friday mournin we arose and was off to the property. On the way to the property luke told me about the property and some hunts. After hearing lukes stories and there Qdm ideas, I barely could wait to get into my stand. After not shooting any deer all season and already calling it a successful season I could not imagine it getting any better. We tip toed to the stand and got all set up. I was amazed to see all the deer tracks that were around. After waiting and watching the snow fall, the first doe showed up at my bait pile. My heart beat and I thought for sure this girl was mine. I waited, and waited. She finally went broad side and I went to pull my bow back and it made a noise and she spooked immediately. Dang...

20 minutes later...one doe shows up, two doe, three doe...nine does came out. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Years previous to this one I was lucky to see one deer, but not this one. They were pretty much headed away from me when a few b-lined towards my bait pile and started chowing down. For the next half hour I watched as the deer ate and played. I kept my eye on the biggest one and watched all the other deer. Was I going to get a shot?? For some reason the bigger does got nervous and the one I wanted went broad sided. I pulled back and she looked right up at me and she started running. In full draw I didn’t know what to do. There was one doe standing in the bait pile and I decided I would try to take her. After 9 years of bowhunting, my first shot was here. I aimed, and let go... AHHHHHHHHH. I could have swore I missed, but I got out to make sure. Yup, I did:( I couldn’t believe it.

30 minutes later we headed in. After a nice snooze, I found myself in another stand looking over a food plot. You could see the deer had been through and the bait we laid was completely gone. 15 minutes after gettin into my stand I have a doe come up from behind me. I waited patiently for her to come in. She walking at a pretty good pace and is 4 feet away from my shooting lane. I pull back my bow and she stops, go figure. So I stay there at full draw for a few minutes. The second I go to let off she starts to move again so I pull. She looks up at me and I aim and let go. Over her back, I couldn’t believe it. I heard so many different things about shooting out of a tree it confused me in which pin I should use. I should have used my 15 yd pin like I thought I should. Instead I used my 20. Probably half how later another doe comes in. She gets within range and is looking straight in front of her so I pull. She then spooked, oops??? This happened several more times before I finally relized what I was doing wrong. I forgot deer have perferbula vision(sp??) So even though they were looking in front of them, they could see me...lesson learned. The night came to an end and we were headed back to the house.

Next mournin we opted to fish some more steelies. Luke took me to school and landed several nice steelies.

He also fought a fish that thought it was still fall. The fish also fought like a salmon but it turned out to be a fat steelie. Talkin about salmon, the run must of just ended on this river. There were still a ton of dead salmon carcesses around. Luke also landed this beautiful brown.

The only question is, is it a lake run or native??? I also hooked into one of those steelies that thought it was fall after going air borne several times and then breaking me off.

I know I didn’t want to leave and I don’t think Luke did either but we then rushed back to the house to get into the woods. 4 o’clock I was finally sitting. I decided to take the muzzle loader out. I sat for a long time and was starting to loose hope. Finally 6 does appeared and I put my cross hairs on the biggest doe. For some reason one of the fawns took off and the other deer were alerted. I seen another big doe was broad side and I didn’t want to mess up on this chance. So I switched deer, put my cross hairs on her shoulder, took a breath, and pulled the trigger. All I could think of was please go off. Luke had a lot of trouble earlier with this gun. It didn’t let me down this time and went off. The deer took off at first lookin like she was not injured and then her shoulder started going down and then tripped over a stump and crashed. I watched her thrash around and that was all she wrote. I let out a sigh of relief. I waited in my stand for awhile and then got down to look for blood. At first I couldn’t find any and it was getting to dark.

After awhile of waiting we decided to go get her. He taught me how to track a deer which of coarse lead us right to her. My second deer ever! Then the fun stuff started, lol.

After dealing with my deer, luke got a call. One of his buddies shot at a deer and needed some help. So we geared up and headed out around 9:30. At first we couldn’t find nothin but hair. Then we started finding blood and more blood. The weird thing was we tracked the deer through 3 river, for 4 hours and the deer never laid down. It looked like we were jumping her 5 hours after the shot was made. We decided to give up and call it a night. I am not sure whether or not the guy ever found the deer.

Sunday mournin I headed for home. It quite amusing to see people looking and pointing at the deer. Love how some people would fly by me and then slam on the breaks to see what I got. It was a good feeling knowing I was coming home with a deer finally. I thought as I drove home, I bet no college kid is bring home a deer for his family:)

We ended up deciding to process the deer ourselves. One of the reason I haven’t got this post up until now. It was definently a learning experience and I want to thank everyone for the advice. Most importantly, I also want to thank Luke for inviting me into his home and for the hospitality. Also, thanks to Luke I feel like I am a much better hunter. Is it Oct 1 yet???

Merry Christmas to everyone! Now it’s time for some steelhead and hopefully get out one or two more times to see if I can fill another tag. What a great season! I highly doubt it will get any better.

Ice fishing starts with the Bass!

So today I got out on the ice for the first time. There are two ponds in the Eagan area that are not well known about and have great winter ice fishing.

We've had a very cold week but some snow on top of the ice to insulate it, so it varys. The smaller ponds WITHOUT aerators should be safe to walk on right now, but I wasn't about to try a larger lake.

The first one I was a little skeptical on because it is aerated- but they usually don't put it on till later in the year. I got down to the lake and take a step near the shoreline, the foot goes through into the mud. Taking a closer look, it was an ice drift that was not in contact with the water; either there was something draining the lake or it had frozen sudden enough to create it by the shore. Nevertheless I wasn't going to risk taking a chance, so I went to #2.

Ice was thicker at the second pond; 5-6” and it was more solid around the shoreline. Also there were footprints and signs of other holes being punched in the ice, so I wasn’t the first one to fish it.

Fishing started off slow, but that soon changed as I iced a 15” bass. I also ended up catching two BIG crappies around 12” a piece, a few small sunfish, and smaller 12” bass.

I hooked something a lot bigger that nearly spooled me. It did one long straight run which fought a lot like a Northern.

That alone was good enough for me. But to top it off my last fish of the day was much better then I had expected. A 17-18” 3-4 lb Bass! Man did that thing put up a fight, and look big coming up the hole. This was caught on an ultralight jigging rod with 3lb test. And of course me without a camera. I decided to release the fish rather then have to bother with cleaning them tonight.

Whatever almost spooled me was bigger then the 17”er.

But what a great way to start off the ice fishing season! I know where I’m going next weekend ;).

Now to get a heater and my power auger fixed. Both will have to wait till after Christmas at this point however.

So last night I am finishing up the final touches of a 12 page paper for eng 112. While inserting a pic into my paper my puter freezes. Totally forgot to save the paper the whole time. I hope wordperfect backs it up. I turn the computer back on and it does...cool.

So I finish the paper, proofread and everything around 5 am on sunday mournin. Clicked the save button and send it off to mom to have her check it out and then start on some other stuff. Go back to add something to the paper and it's GONE!!! AHHHHHHHH. Thanks to having to send it to mom, it saved in my email, THANK GOD!!! That would of cancelled all my fishing plans this week after my last final on tuesday.

Anyways, can't wait. Tuesday i'll be in the woods in search of soem deer with my bow. Then wednesday it's off to the mighty local river in search of steel with one of my fishin buddies. Later in the afternoon, around one it's back to the woods. Then early thursday I am headed to the manistee in search of steel. Then a little more deer hunting with my buddy on friday. Saturday and sunday i'll be along some northwest river in the frigid cold temps in hopes of hooking up with some more steelies. To say I am excited is an understatement.

Then at home, dentist appointment, and then more fishing and snowboarding.

I wish everyone who has finals the best of luck. It's almost over!!!!!
