So my fic has slightly taken a different turn then what I think the person was looking for, but I have all the "wants" in it, it is just a bit hmm..different. I hope that the person I am writing it for will still enjoy it.
Also, in a few days (say Wed the 8th) I am going to need a beta. Would anyone be willing to be my beta for this story?

Author's Notes: This is the third story in the "Under Your Skin" series. I'm really excited about this series, because now that I've established the direction I want to take it in, I'm enjoying the chance to play with the characters in this way. I hope you guys like it too!

Six random things about me:
1. I'm a hugger. If I know you, I will hug you at least once. Even if I don't know you, I'll probably still hug you. I'm not really sure why I'm so much of a hugger, but I think it's partially because I feel like a hug makes up for the fact that I'm sometimes bad with words and all that.
2. I don't sit with my feet flat on the floor. Right now, I'm sitting on my couch (at hoooome!) with one leg out on the chair beside me and the ball of my other foot on the ground. I'm pretty sure I always sit somewhat like this.
3. When we have corn on the cob with lunch/dinner, I have to eat the corn last. Sometimes on a new plate.
4. .liu - > That's from Manhattan. I can chew the same piece of gum for hours, even if it's lost all flavor and is hard as a rock. I really don't notice that often, until it starts to actually taste bad.
5. My idea of dressing up for class is not wearing a t-shirt and leaving my hair down. I usually throw it into a ponytail and go.
6. Beer makes me sleepy, but tequila doesn't. Two beers and I'm about to fall asleep, but two margaritas and I'm ready to go.

...Neil Tennant needs to stop writing prophetic lines.
1. It's hard to write post-Revelations fic that isn't all about Kara and Sam.
2. I am not obsessed.
3. Truthfully, it's hard to write any fic at all that doesn't make me want to shoot myself in the head right now. (this is not a request for pats and such, it's just a statement of fact)
4. That said, palmetto and I are insane, and have dared each other to do Nanowrimo this year.
5. While I still have a job, it was suggested to those of us who are temporary that we might enjoy (enjoy! with smiles!) working only four days a week. Because that would make us so happy and fix their budget crisis. At least they're not asking us for 700 billion dollars.
6. One day, I will actually do a music post. |

Okay, I've been hedging on maybe seeing Nights in Rodanthe, only because Meloni is in it. I know my mom would love to see it, so I'd totally go, but also... ehhhh. I love Diane Lane, I'm neutral on Richard Gere. I went to find some reviews on the movie, and Roger Ebert had me laughing all the way through his:
Spoilers, obviously, although not for the ending.

Of course, Ebert always was the laid back one, wasn't he? It was Siskel who was the hard-ass.
I think I'll just go see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist instead. |

From Rock the Vote, where you can also register to vote online. (Note: I haven't tried their system, because in Portland, there are enough people running around with clipboards and slogans that you can register to vote outside of each Starbucks.)
A bunch of states have registration deadlines of today or Monday, so get on eet! Unless you're in North Dakota, where voter registration is apparently not applicable. *puzzles*

My dreams were Pretender-riffic. This is possibly because I marathonned a good five episodes last night. I only remember that in the last one, we'd all had to move and be careful about which buses we took. And were checking escape routes.
