Howdy and what not,
I figured with so many FF vids being posted of late and the BDM coming out, depending on where you look; it be nice to have one place to post or at least a place you know you're going to find Firefly vids in one nice place and so on.
THE RULES -- (#6 gives posting format)
Please read all the community rules before you join.
1. Membership:
This an open community.
2. Feedback: You know what makes a vidder happy? Feedback, a smallish line, I loved it/hated it, or so on. Lots of hardwork and frustration goes into making a vid, so...you know what I am saying? Yes, I think you do.
3. Write clearly and legibly in your posts. I am not a spelling nazi, but I want understandable English, where you know, there's a subject to the sentence, and not, ez shortcuts 2 a simple and ez word 2 spell. Dong Ma? thnx.
4. Discussion: This a Firefly/Serenity Video Community! The posts have to be one of the following: a vid, a vid link, or about vidding, btw, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) vidding is the perfect place for the latter.
*Vid Reccing is allowed, if it contains a vid link to the source!
*Do Not post graphics of any kind, icons, unless it's a title for your vid. Icons and graphics can be posted at: ff_icons and firefly_graphix.
*Questions/requests about vids, or video making must relate to Firefly/Serenity in some way.
4. DO NOT STEAL:
BANDWIDTH (aka HOTLINKING): Please for the love of God, DO NOT steal or hotlink someone's vid. Right Click Save Target as, to save unto your computer.
CLIP THEFT: DO NOT chop up someone's vid to use as your own source. It's tacky and rude, and if you get caught doing it, most of the vidding community in general will fall upon you like a pack of wolves and kick you into someone's engine. Please be respectful of people's hard work, fan art or vids/fanfic of any kind.
*DO NOT take someone's vid, and post to your/or a site/journal etc, without asking the vidder's permission.
5. SPOILER TAGS:
Relating to anything of Serenity before Sept. 30 2005, if you use clips from the trailers or so on or any kind of source.
6.FORMAT GUIDE Posting: Please try to follow, as it makes for easy archiving in memories!
