Hey!

For an upcoming con I've been thinking of going as a Reaver :D Buuut I'm not super sure on what I should be wearing - other than a lot of grime and (fake) blood :P So far only real idea I have is doing some stuff with bones, maybe thread a bunch through my hair.

Anyone else ever done a Reaver cosplay before? or got pics of someone else as one? :P Or any idea's for what I could wear/get away with for weapons etc.

Any help is much appreciated!

I never got around to purchasing a copy of the Serenity companion Volume One (though I have volume two in my hands as we speak-- yay) and I've got a question about the content.

Does Volume One include "biographies" of the characters (not the cast?) I'm looking specifically for a good bio of Zoe for use in the project I mentioned in my last post.

Greetings, I realize it was a while since this year's DragonCon but I'm looking for pics of my Jayne costume.  If anyone has any leads please send them my way :)

So, folks, guess what? My class's regular algebra teacher is on paternity leave, and we have a substitute teacher for the next six weeks or so.

A substitute teacher who went to high school with Adam Baldwin, and also had the glorious gift of being bullied by him in a very Jayne-like fashion throughout those years.

I'm not even kidding.

I'm thinkin' of asking whether Adam stuffed him into any trash cans. Any other requests/suggestions?

I wonder if anyone else noticed this. I've been watching the Alien movies lately, and there are a lot of similarities between things in these movies and some things in Firefly. Like the commercial ship in the first movie and the Alliance cruisers, and the phrase "building better worlds" (which is used in Aliens and Serenity). I think he got quite a few ideas from them.

And, of course, there's the fact Joss Whedon himself wrote the story for Alien: Resurrection.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but if i'm not late to the party then watch this...
