I'm having trouble coming up w/inspiration for the current challenge. I'm hoping something will click w/me before the voting, but I might be taking a skip this time.

As far as using the winner's icon for the comm, I'd say it should be totally up to the person who created it. (I also think it should have something to do w/"firefly_rumble" if it's gonna be the comm's icon. Just my 2 cents. :)

No problem. I can understand how sometimes a round isn't as inspiring as the next. Hopefully next time will be more helpful.

Yeah, that's actually why I made the poll. If someone says no, then I won't use their icons. If they say yes, I will. I see that I wasn't completely clear in my question, but the icon wouldn't be the communities default, they would be icons that decorate the profile page where all the rules and information is laid out. Right now, those are mostly my icons, but my great hope is to have actual winning icons all the way down the page. I think it'd be great (although I would have to add the creator above or below them which would make it look a little different). I'd have to play with it to see how it looks best. Still - if a person says no, then I won't use them. I completely respect that. =D

graphy_spasm just totally ignored your "okay seriously" rule. I think you should make her write us some fic. :D

Yeah, she ignored me, but she only clicked the ticky box so I can forgive her. The ticky is very intriguing and demands to be clicked.

Of course, I still had someone vote that shouldn't have, but... *sigh* I'm not surprised at all. And here I thought I was being overly dramatic with the bold and underline. Maybe next time I'll have to put a "I will ban you!" disclaimer on it.

I checked the "Maybe" ticky (and the last one naturally! Ticky boxes o' LOVE!!*lol*). The reason for it is that I would love to be able to say "I know that one of mine won, but I don't think it's good enough to be on your profile page". That might sound very conceited of me - but that's how I feel.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: Sure! Just let me know which ones you're taking so I can maybe hide one or two behind my back. ;)

I would love to be able to say "I know that one of mine won, but I don't think it's good enough to be on your profile page."

That is perfectly understandable. As of right now, the ones of yours I would request to use are from Challenges 1, 2, 3, and 5. Just let me know if you'd rather not have any of those used. Also, if you want, in future challenges you can always leave a comment when you submit an icon that you prefer to not have it used on the profile page. I'll try to remember to add a line in the rules so everyone knows that's an option - like a continual 'opt-out' opportunity with each submission.

I'm definitely a firm believer in giving the icon makers every opportunity for input - especially in cases like this. =D Thanks for your comment - it definitely helps.

The Mal one from the first challenge is actually why I wrote the comment in the first place. I'd rather it was left out. ;)

Thank you so much for asking and for listening!

I really feel this has been the most positive icon challenge multi rounds thing I've ever seen and or participated in! It's really built on positive reinforcements and I love that. You're doing a great job. Thank you so much! ♥

No worries - I've had icons place in icontests that I don't think I ever put in an icon post because I wanted to hide them. Consider Mal untouched. =D

That's very sweet of you to say. I always felt bad when I'd see posts on my flist about friends being kicked out of lims and what not. When I heard about the rumble challenges, I thought it'd be great to bring to Firefly fandom. I'm so happy that people are enjoying it and continue to play along. I can't believe it's more than half way done.

Thank you for being a part of the community! ♥
