firefly_lims is a Last Icon Maker Standing competition for Joss Whedon's television series, Firefly, and the film Serenity. Each week we will vote to decide which icons show the least quality until there is only one icon maker standing. Challenges may include screencaps, promo pics, cast pictures (in character), cast pictures (out of character), lyrics, quotes, episodes, themes, or specific scenes. This community is modeled after ultimate_lims.

RULES:
1.) Sign up. The keyphrase is "two by two".
2.) You must participate in every challenge until you are voted off or you will be disqualified. You are allowed to use one skip early in the challenge.
3.) At voting time, you will vote for the icon or icons that show the least quality. This is not your personal opinion of a certain style, color, font, iconmaker, etc. To prevent strategic voting, you must include a critical and unbiased explanation to why the icon you've chosen shows the least quality of the other icon in the challenge.
4.) Follow the rules of each given challenge. Unless stated otherwise you will only be allowed to use the given image. Stock photos, textures, brushes, gradients, etc. are all allowed unless otherwise noted. Animation is allowed but not recommended.
5.) All entries must remain anonymous until voting for that particular challenge is over.
6.) Each round is broken up into several challenges. For instance, we will refer to a challenge as Round 2 Challenge 3.
