Hi! I know it's been a while since we've had a round here at firefly_lffws, but we definitely haven't forgotten you. I'd like to have a Round 3, but try out a different kind of competition. Are you familiar with a rumble challenge? These are typically done in icon contest communities, but I think it could work for this type of fic challenge community, as well.

What's a rumble*? We'll have sign-ups for the round. The round will consist of 10 challenges. In each challenge, a prompt will be given and participants will submit a 100 word drabble. Members of the community will vote for their favorite drabbles and the scores keep adding up. There will be winners after each challenge and an "overall" winner for the entire round. There are no eliminations and since the comments are for the favorite drabbles, the comments are all positive. Comments will be made available to winning drabbles (and any who received comments) after each challenge (if they want).

The idea for a rumble was taken from disney_rumble, an icontest community. It has been adapted for a Firefly icontest at firefly_rumble. If you're interested... ;)

The Voting Rules

- You must give one reason for each drabble you voted for. It can't be something personal, ie, "I didn't like that drabble because it had Inara in it." If you state that something is wrong with the drabble, please, try to tell us why you think it's wrong. Same thing, if you're stating something good.
- Positive and negative votes will be added together for each drabble and the final total will determine their score. EX; Drabble # 3 get 3 negative votes and 1 positive vote. Their final score is -2.
- Again, it's the drabbles with the most negative votes that gets disqualified.
