♦This is an icon challenge community. Each Monday a screencap (or caps) will be posted; your icon entry must use the cap posted. Stock images* may be added, but not additional Firefly (or other fannish) screen captures.
♦Animations are allowed, but may only use the image(s) provided.
♦You will have until Saturday Noon PST to post your entries.
♦Your entry should be in a separate post.
♦You may enter one icon per week or contest, unless there is a special contest, in which case, the special rule(s) will be posted with the challenge screencap.
♦Old/Previous challenges will be archived in the memories
♦Icons must be LJ-standard: up to 100px square and maximum of 40 KBs.
♦You must be a member of the community to post an icon. Click here to join.

♦Voting will take place on Saturdays.
♦Do not vote for yourself.

♦You must vote to win. If for some reason you will not be able to vote in a contest you entered, please leave a comment for the mod in the challenge post.
♦Winning icons will be announced Sunday night or Monday morning—whichever is the easiest for the mod posting.
♦There will be First Place, Second Place, and Third Place winners. The moderator posting the week's challenge may pick a mod's choice award should she so desire.
