We're a weekly drabble challenge community for the short-lived but deeply beloved television show "Firefly" & the film Serenity. We were born out of a desire to have a community for 100 word drabbles. (Mostly, I blame ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dorrie6.) |
| How It Works: |
Once a week, on Monday (sometime before 11pm CST), we will post a challenge. You have one week to post as many drabbles using the prompt as you like. We're not terribly strict here, either, so if you're a few days late or your drabble strayed far from the prompt, no one will mind. |
| The Rules: |
- Drabbles must be exactly 100 words long (or a multiple thereof up to 400 total*). They must also still be a story. Therein lies the challenge.
- Drabbles must feature at least one character/place/event from Firefly or Serenity. Het, gen, slash, crossovers, and AUs are all accepted.
- Members may post as many drabbles per challange as they like. More than two in the same post must be behind a cut-tag.
- Please label each drabble with a title, pairing, and rating. Please lj cut and label if the drabble is rated NC-17. Serenity spoilers do not need to be cut.
- Please use the tag system. Characters (major and minor) and prompt tags are created for each challenge, so please use them!
- Advertising (for other communities, journals, projects - no matter how related!) is not allowed without prior permission from bookaddict43 or maantre. Email or leave a comment on any post labeled 'admin' and one of us will get it. Offending posts will be deleted and repeat offenders banned.
- That's it! Have fun and drabble away!
*Drabbles are stories that are exactly 100 words long. Short stories that are some other multiple of 100 are also allowed here, though they must be labeled as such. For example, if your story is 200 words long, label it a double drabble, 300, triple drabble, and 400, quadruple drabble. Anything longer is too long for this community. |
