Layout - Flexible Squares - Rainbow Heaven
I finally made a layout I feel comfortable with giving away. :D! It's very simple, but I think it looks clean, and somewhat unique, so here it be. Be gentle, kids, I'm just really dipping my toes seriously into the world of s2 customization, and I am sick. D:
Style: Flexible Squares
Best View: 1024x768, though I'm sure it will work in 800x600 just fine.
Browsers Tested: Firefox, IE6
Custom Comment Pages: Nope, sorry. D: Maybe next time.
Ads: Untested, but I imagine it will be fugly.
Website Link: Not needed.
Navbar: I have it disabled. I imagine, again, it will be fugly.

INSTRUCTIONS |

Go to Manage → Customize. |

Select s2 under Style System. Hit Save Changes. |

Go to Look And Feel. Choose Flexible Squares and leave it at the default. Hit Save Changes. |

If you'd like, go to Custom Options → Sidebar and pick and choose what you'd like displayed. It really doesn't make much difference. |
05 |
Go to Custom CSS. Make sure "Use Layout's Base Weblog Stylesheet" is set to YES. |
06 |
Paste the custom CSS into the box and hit Save Changes. |
That should do it, and the layout will be up. |

Other Tidbits:
→ If you wish to customize things like community and user icons, and the lock icon, you can find some really awesome ones that match beautifully over at
damnicons. Those are the ones I'm using where I am using this layout (and I'm not telling ;o).→ Feel free to make new stuff for it. I don't care. It's a simple layout and if you want to use it as a starting point, that is fine and dandy by me.
