This is a community devoted to the study and use of any Finno-Ugric language. Want to speak some Karelian, Nganasan, Ingrian, Votic, Saami or Lüdian? Feel free to post here in them. As the community grows, there will hopefully be people to understand! Of course, English and Russian are accepted too.
There is, as you may notice, more of a bias to lesser-known finno-ugric languages as there are more of them than the more commonly known ones, but don't let that stop you talking about Hungarian, Estonian or Finnish! :)

- Virtual Livonia - Virtual Livonia's original website dissapeared unespectedly, as the webmaster said, however one can use www.archive.org to find it. If it doesn't work, just try other versions in the archive. The images don't all work, but the text is still there. Unfortunately, the MP3s seem to have dissapeared, as well as the useful graphics which explain the livonian orthography and pronunciation. Perhaps if we all write him an email, he'll get back to it! ;)
