findhpcaps! This community was created by

snowflakie06 with the intention of helping people find images related to Harry Potter. What sort of Harry Potter images you ask? Any and every! They can be of the many actors, from the movies, from the books, etc.

1. All posts must be related to finding Harry Potter images.
This means no posts advertising other communities and/or websites unless they are related to Harry Potter images. Icon/graphic communities and challenges are not allowed. Any communites and websites of any other fandom are not allowed as well. Said posts will be deleted and the member posting it will receive a warning. The second time they will be banned.

2. No 'ship' wars!
I do not care whether or not a 'ship' has been recognized as canon or not, everyone has their own opinion whether you like it or not. Anyone seen bashing someone else for their choice of 'ships' will be banned from the community immediately.

3. No actor bashing.
Do not reply to a post saying that you hate one actor or another. Anyone seen doing so will be banned from the community immediately.

4. Private photos of actors are prohibited!
Please do not request or post in comments pictures of actors with their friends. They deserve their privacy as does anyone else. Anyone seen doing this will receive a warning and their post/comment will be deleted. The second time they will be banned from the community. This is in no way saying that all members do not view, use or post private photos elsewhere, they are just not allowed here.

5. NO HOTLINKING
Please upload all images to your own server! Photobucket.com and ImageShack.us are both excellent sites.

6. No netspeak!
Do not talk like this: omg liek i wuld ttlly luv u if u told me where i culd find tis img. ty!1!111! Not only is it annoying but if you do your post will be deleted and you will be warned. Doing so a second time will result in a banning.

Rules may be added or changed as time goes on. If one is changed or added, there will be a mod's note posted to inform you.

When posting a request for an image, please use this posting format:

Name of Actor/Character/Location
Movie/Event
Other Information Here you can add information on the sort of pose you want or the images you do have. Specifying what you plan on using the image for might also be useful.

Also please make sure you have checked the main Harry Potter image galleries for the image before posting. If you do not know which sites these are, check the resources which are listed below.

When commenting on someone's request, please use this format:

Image < img src="" > format
Image URL Don't forget to upload to your own server!
Website Link Link to the site where you found the image for that person's knowledge and future use.
