Why do you think people would enjoy reading and commenting on your posts? If you have the choice between reading my journal and cutting off your writing thumb - then hey, my journal doesn't seem so bad?

Tell us about your life and what you want to do with it: I'm currently finishing up a master's degree in geology and working full time. My hubby is also in school full time and working full time - so between school, thesis, my son, and everyday life we're pretty booked. My journal is my me place. My dream is to save up enough money for a down payment on a house with a nice back yard and a really big fence (or better yet way out in the country) so I can get comfy. I want to grow my own garden. I want to expand on my candle making. I want time to pursue my research into gemstone folklore - which has expanded into herb folklore as well. I want to take courses in herbal healing. I want to have more money to give to charity. I want to help people. I want to push myself out of my shell and work on my anxiety and other issues. I want to be a better mom.

If you could swap lives with a person for a week, who would it be and why? absolutely no one. I LOVE being me - even on the days when life is super shitty.

How did you find this community and why did you decide to join? Its being featured by lj right now. My friends list is pretty short cause I'm really shy and hate to intrude. But I love people and like reading about their lives.
