It has come to my attention that the pairing of Evey and Finch has become favored and is even suggested "movie canon". I, as a Evey/Finch shipper myself have studied the scenes in which Finch explains to Dominic his "feeling" and I have decided after analyzing the screencaptures found HERE by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) spiffybean that (in my humble opinion) the relationship between Finch and Evey is romantic.
I now present the evidence.
If you study the captures you will notice the books and films, which are obviously things from the Shadow Gallery. However, the presence of a fire place leads me to believe that Evey has moved, and brought V's books and films with her. Note also, the Scarlet Carson roses which Evey is arranging.
This is obviously Evey's element.
But it's Finch's as well. I don't know about you but I have NO friends who can sit on my sofa so comfortably drinking out of MY glasses so at ease. Finch is at home. This is his home as well as Evey's.
But what I want you to notice more than anything is the photo on the mantle. I have taken a screencap myself and labeled it.
