Yo all, I'm Eli, it's a pleasure to meet you. I was going to do an audaciously alliterative announcement of arrival...but I realized I kind of suck at alliteration. ^^ Nevertheless.
I mostly write slash with a dash of (rare) het, and as I see that fic of all stripes is welcome here, may I present two Dominic/Finch drabbles and one sort-of Evey/Finch.
Both are movie-canon (I haven't actually read the GN), 150 words long, and self-contained (i.e. no overflow from one drabble to the next.)
Incidentally, the playwright referenced in #3 is indeed Federico Garcia Lorca, partially because I fangirl Lorca to a ridiculous degree, and partially because I think Finch would sympathize with Lorca's "Oh God civilization is slime and wires and people SUCK" poetry.

Here it is, the fluff-ish chapter. But yet, not quite all fluff. This chapter marks a major shift in the story. Sorry to anyone who did not want a shift, but I have planned it all along this way. Only two more chapters after this, but don't worry - I won't end this story in a depressing way.

This one was very easy to write! And I'm going away for a few days and wanted to get it up before I left. As such, it has not been edited at all. I usually find several mistakes and will correct them as I see them, but it may be a few days, so sorry about that.
Also, this chapter is not as PG-13ish as I anticipated. I moved the more adult-ish bit to the next chapter. But this one is still probably PG-13. Enjoy!

Wow! My longest chapter ever. But also the easiest to write. I also (happily) watched V just this evening. Thinking back on the story after having seen the movie again, I realize that I have made some mistakes. I was going to fix them until I realized that would be too much work and I should just move on. So I have. And I hope you can too, if any of the mistakes bother you.
Also, I haven't ever read the graphic novel (and don't really have an interest in doing so), I've seen the movie now three times, and read the novelization once, so if anything else is blatantly wrong in this chapter, sorry about that.
Really, this is my favourite chapter so far. And it's just going to get better, kiddies! On with the show!

Hey all. Here's the third chapter for you, where the friendship really starts to take focus. This would have been up earlier today except this morning I happened upon a second hand store and, while browsing through the shelves, came across a copy of the special edition of "The Crying Game". SQUEE! So I had to rush home and watch this alternate ending that I had heard so much about, and watch Stephen be so adorable in the featurettes. Anyway, good times.
PS. Happy birthday, Harry Potter! If you were real, I'd marry ya!
So here it is. Chapter 4 should not be too long in coming. I did pick up a double shift for work tomorrow and I know I will need to watch the "V" DVD at least a few times, but I'm getting to the part of the story that has me giggling, so it really should not take long.

I already have some of the later stuff written and will do my best to stick to a regular posting schedule.
