It's almost 9 o'clock at night. I'm pulling into my driveway. The street is dark.
I get out of my car and hear, "You almost ran over my dog!"
I ignore it, since I personally didn't see anyone as I was pulling in.
Then, I go to the complex mailbox and get the mail.
"Did you hear me? You almost hit my dog!"
So, I calmly reply, "I apologize."
"You should, because you almost hit my dog!"
"You shouldn't be out walking your dogs after dark wearing black."
"You shouldn't be going so fast!"
"I was well under the speed limit."
"Well, dogs aren't the only animals out there!"
Whatever... At this point, I ignored her and wandered off.
But, now I'm angry... The only time I even contemplate speeding is when I'm on the interstate out of town, and even then, I only go 5 mph over the limit. I never speed in town. I can't help it if she's in a dark spot, wearing dark clothes, not watching where she's going.

WHee! I got Shaun and myself ACEN badges today. I still can't get over the fact of how awesome it is to get your badge mailed to you. No more standing in line!!! Hopefully they won't pull an Ikasucon and not send anything *LOL* ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) neonlexicon & steverestless will be joining the party. Whee I'm pumped..geez this con isn't until May. Wheee so many panels and hopefully bands that doesn't involve the Spoony Bards. Nothing against them but they are all I see at the conventions I usually attend. Same with Ohayocon's using the "two for one deal" with Eyeshine/Power Ranger Dude Johnny Yong Bosch. Then again I don't see any musical guests for ACEN yet so I could be eating my words *LOL*

At the moment, I like laronthology the best, with laromnibus in second place and literonmi in third. I have bad taste, though, so!
EDIT: Monday, I would totally use laronmightwritestuff if it weren't for the fact that LJ has a fifteen character username limit. laronmightwrite fits, though!

1.) Came down with a cold somehow. It's kind of going away now, but yesterday was pretty horrid. Proved to myself that I could teach on a pounding headache though. I am officially awesome. ♥

3.) Had a surreal run-in with some international school brat when I was in serendra. "OMG YOU LIEK SMOKE CLOVES? *kyaa* WHEREVER DID YOU LIEK BUY THEM?" Btw, she was almost Asian porn star hot.
4.) LIGHTS OUT ON SATURDAY REQUIREMENTS PILING UP AAAAAAH-- *pop*

Nothing much happened today, except for this awesome Suikoden 2 mousepad that I ordered from Zazzle coming in!
Well, that and the announcement for Shining Force Feather being announced for the DS.
This is big. Camelot, who-- if I'm not horribly mistaken-- produces the Shining Force games, said that they were contemplating making this game! There had not been a Shining Force game in ten (if Wikipedia is to be believed) years! And now, out of the blue, comes this new game.
Maybe I'm just too optimistic for my own good, but if Camelot can produce a Shining Force game out of no where after ten years, then maybe they can produce another Golden Sun game after five, eh? |

 Used Shaun's birthday gift today. The George Forman grill is awesome. I bought some cheap porks at Kroger coming home from work, they taste great XD So we have pork chops, steamed rice & veggies.
Work was pretty relaxed today, my boss installed Google's Chrome browser and told me I could too. So I spend the last half hour messing with Chrome. It's cool, I like how fast it runs. At first I thought it was silly that Google is making a browser, but after trying it. I really like how it works. It's good to have choices instead of just one choice anyways.
