| About: | If you would like to join this community, click here after reading all of the below! Welcome to a Livejournal community dedicated to all things about Final Fantasy 11. This community is built by fans of the game, for fans of the game. What we hope to accomplish with this community is most importantly: to allow people who play this game to meet other like-minded people who play this game. We also hope with this community to allow open discussion on all elements of Final Fantasy 11... both praise and constructive critcism on the game. Of course, in the end it's all about fun, so have at it! :) OK Noone likes rules but to maintain a fair and safe community it's necessary to have a few. Don't worry, we're not hardasses ^_^ but please read the below: 1) Treat people the way you wish to be treated. Insensitive and Malicious posts will be deleted. This means no flaming, and if all you are coming here for is to flame, don't bother, we will not hesistate to delete inappropriate posts, and if ultimatley necessary, report to lj-abuse. We wish to run a safe and welcoming community for all. This does not mean any negative post would be deleted though... Example: Constructive critisism on FFXI is welcomed, however open flaming of another player, espically one in this community, is not allowed under any circumstance. 2) If you would like to join the community, WELCOME!. There is no limits as to who can join the community-- from die-hard addicts of the game, to those that are just interested in the game and want to know more about it. All are welcome. However, we ask that you completley read the last 3 pages worth of posts before making your first post. This is to avoid hearing the same questions over and over from new community members. Reading previous posts and doing your part will help to ensure a manageable amount of traffic through the community. On the flip side of the coin, veteran members of the community should be aware of this rule, and be understanding that the question may come up once every few weeks once old posts cycle behind 3 pages worth such as: "how do I get a world pass", "how do I get summoner", etc... please be welcoming to all community members, remember we were all new once and had these questions. 3) ANY picture (most noteably screenshots) must be behind an LJ-CUT. For more information on LJ-CUT, please refer to the lj-cut FAQ. This means that you cannot post one picture in front of the cut, and then "click here for more". This means all pictures must be behind a cut. This rule is established to preserve the formatting of our member's friends pages, and out of respect for our friends on dial-up connections. Don't worry, members of this community will click on your cuts. Don't be afraid to use them ^_^ 4) No quizzes or surveys. Post these all you want in your own journal, but they are not appropriate for a community. An exception may be made if the quiz is final fantasy 11 related, however the quiz may only be posted once in the community, and it must be behind an lj-cut due to rule #3 (all other quiz results must be relegated to the replies of that post).
