About Welcome to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} finalfantasy14, a community dedicated to the newly announced Square Enix game in the Final Fantasy series. This place was created so that fans of FFXIV could come together to talk about the upcoming game.FFXIV's announcement came as a surprise when it was first shown at Sony's E3 press conference on 6/2/2009. So far, there is not a whole lot of information regarding the game, other than it will be online, much like Final Fantasy XI, and will be released on both PS3 and PC platforms. ☆ Respect other members and no wank. There will be no tolerance for discrimination of any kind. Debate is fine, but verbal abuse is not. If you have a problem with another member, please contact the mod/maintainer about it. ☆ Only make posts that relate to FFXIV in some way. (It is okay for instance, to make an icon post that includes other icons in it other than FFXIV ones. However, if your post contains nothing to do with FFXIV at all, it will be deleted.) ☆ If posting more than one image or a long block of text, please put it under an lj-cut. For icon posts, you may have up to 3 icon previews in your post. Please put the rest under an lj cut or link to the rest. ☆ Please use the comm's lj tags, which are listed on the comm's sidebar. If your post does not fit into one of those categories, then leave it blank.
