Your characters have awoken in a strange new land. They find themselves in an apartment with all their belongings from their home lands and when they look outside a whole new world stretches out before them. This city has come to be known as Fatali, a cross-street of worlds as one might call it. It remarkably bears a resemblance to a modern day municipality such as New York or Los Angeles, though more alive with a colorful nature. What mysteries lie before is a path you’ll have to take for yourself.
A certain tear in the seam of the universe’s tapestry led them to land themselves...and there is no way back to where they came from. They must make their way through the hustle and bustle of the city life. They’ll encounter old friends and old adversaries from their previous lives, come across new found love with those from the other worlds. But to make their home here they must find jobs, attend instruction at a local institute (optional), have the time of their lives and go through the drama of everyday life. This is your story . . .
> Any characters from Final Fantasy VI through Final Fantasy X-2, Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories are available to be played. Characters who died in-game or pre-game are the same age they were when they died.
> There are a few ways to be active in this RPG. You can post in your character journal, post in the community itself, or play out a scene with another character (or characters) over AIM. Please try to do one of those things at least once every other week. If you're going to go on temporary hiatus for longer than a month for any reason, notify us in the ooc community. Characters who are inactive for more than a month and whose players haven't notified me will be freed up for claiming.
> There is a withstanding three character maximum. If you find yourself unable to play a character for any reason, let us know and I'll remove them from your list (at which time you can pick another character if you would like). If you need to withdraw from the RPG entirely, let us know and I'll free up all your characters.
> No god-playing. This means no interpreting the actions of a character that's not yours. Obviously, we won't be there to watch you if you're playing over AIM with someone else, but I trust you to follow the rules. If someone else godplays your character(s), let us know and I'll take appropriate actions (either a warning or, if they've done it more than once, a ban).
> Try not to pick characters in a fashion that would mean you'd have to self-interact often. i.e. Don't pick Cloud and Sephiroth; Celes and Locke; Squall and Rinoa; Tidus and Yuna; Braska, Jecht, and Auron; etc. because then you're not interacting with other players, which is both boring and against the spirit of roleplaying.
> Probably the most important rule deals with mutual respect. Respect me and I'll respect you. Respect your fellow players and they'll respect you. Don't come in this community to flame people or start drama, because you won't get to stay here long, I assure you.
> Don't attack the player for what their character said or did. It shouldn't take a big mental leap to understand that the player's thoughts, feelings and actions are completely separate from those of the character.
> Slash is fine as long as it is IN CHARACTER. Because no matter how much you want it to happen, some characters just are not gay. 'OMG so-and-so is gay/lesbian/bi because I think they should be gay/lesbian/bi!' is not a good reason.
> Anything over a PG-13 rating must be behind an LJ-cut with a warning.

+ final_union_log; this community is for posting you're AIM roleplaying sessions for the rest of the players to read to catch up on current events and such. this must be joined with your character's journal.
> Go here and fill out the application form, submitting it in a comment to that post. Your comment will be screened. To signify you've read the rules, please respond 'No one mourns the wicked!' to the last question on the application. (But it is quite elementary to figure it out for yourselves if you cherish this national beauty as much as I do!)
> One of the mods will reply to your application in a timely manner. Your application(s) will probably be approved because we’re not picky. However, I do reserve the right to turn down your application(s) for any reason. Generally, if you have a reputation of being a bad roleplayer or if you've got a poor attitude, I won't approve you. If you answer the last question on the application incorrectly, I'll ask you to read the rules and try again. Your grammar and spelling should also be decent (not perfect, because I don't expect anyone to be perfect, but people who tipe liek dis omg i cant spell n ur ghey are not going to get aPPr0v3D-ah!).
> After we've approved your application(s), please create your character journal(s). These are required, even if you're only planning on roleplaying through AIM.
> Join the communities.
> Once you’ve been approved and you’ve made your character journal register your character’s apartment and tell us what your journal is so that we may post your information onto the info page.
