My all time favorite movie. Well done!

The stills are a little out of order, aren't they?

начало у фильма с аварией и выбрасыванием пианино совершенно безумное.

I love your choice of stills here, and somehow even though they were out of order it felt perfectly normal to me, probably because his character is a little mixed up heh.

such a great shot.

Though I am not a big Paul Thomas Anderson fan, Punch Drunk Love is one of my all time favorites. "I want to chew your face, and I want to scoop out your eyes and I want to eat them and chew them and suck on them."

I just saw There Will Be Blood this afternoon, and was amazed that it was the same director. I knew Anderson made great movies, but I was very impressed at how well he handled something so visually different than his previous work.

They filmed the scenes at his work on a street about three blocks from my parents' house. The hills in the background in the third still and the fourth still are what I grew up around. I went to see this movie in theaters and I was totally shocked to see those hills.

Great stills :)

I don't mean to be Mr. Poopypants, but is anyone else kind of perturbed by the fact that she starts relentlessly pursuing him based on his photo alone?

.....sigh.....

Why isn't THERE WILL BE BLOOD playing ANYWHERE goddamn nearby? I mean, literally it's only playing closest, a STATE and a half away from me! And I live 20 minutes from PORTLAND OREGON! C'mon, that's a big giant famous city everyone across the USA knows of! I wouldn't expect it to play too close around Vancouver, WASHINGTON, but PORTLAND. YES, YES SIR!

Especially with it garnering the most oscar nods, besides that new kickass Coens picture.... Especially with Punch-Drunk Love, the movie he made RIGHT before There Will Be Blood, being prolly my FAVORITE film of his so far, which is saying MAMMOTH things considering MAGNOLIA was made before THAT!

GAHH!!!!!!

Considering all the pieces of the score I've heard sounding so profoundly brilliant and intense! I'd say my two favorite scores of the last few years having been for Punch Drunk Love, then Requiem For a Dream....

WANNA SEE THERE WILL BE BLOOD!!!!

PS- Nice caps! If there were any I miss, they'd be that glorious shadow of Sandler as he's running, long and abstract, like a surrealistic crime noir movie frame, OR the shot of him being punched and the camera tracking sideways onto the cement, though I guess that's more exciting as a moving shot, edited with the previous shots of him freaking out and the fella thwacking him. It's like some glorious loving tribute and original take on that infamous shot in Raging Bull when LaMotta slugs the guy and we fall over sideways into the canvas along with our slugee... Or, at least, I always thought it was an inspired take on that shot...

I'm rambling!!!!
