Vivien is so adorable as a older lady. I haven't seen this one yet (I know right, weird), but I did see the Helen Mirren one and let's just say Helen reminds me so much of an older Viv. Go her, classy.

lets say we're even, cause I STILL haven't seen the Waterloo Bridge. I really love this movie, the acting is really good, and Vivien is in color what more can you want?
I haven't seen the new one, but I was aware that they remade it, I should check it out!

I don't know! But you really do need to see Waterloo bridge, it's wonderful and Viv is superior in that film. The new version of this is super cheesy, but Olivier Martinez is smokin' and it has the dude who plays Xerxes on 300...who knew!

I need to see 300, and I'm going to see Waterloo Bridge next week *figers crossed* because it's coming out on DVD and hopefully will be available at Barns and Noble, it's on the website. August 28 I can't wait!

ya, that's what I'm hoping, that it'll be like the new Anna DVD which I don't have yet, but I hate all the imports. Like that Hamilton Woman for instance it always starts with Chinese subtitles, I hate that. And special features would be great.

the new anna dvd is decent, it's in a really pretty box case and the special features are meh. it's got a nice still gallery but no documentary about the film itself, just one about Tolstoy

that's better than the version I got, (which might be illegal) JK, but mine sucks. And the cover is weird. And the funniest thing is the cover is a picture of Vivien from Dark Journey (and it's all orange), and the back cover is of her from Cleopatra (and not even the movie, but when she did the play!) that's what I get for having my mom get it for me :(

Oh, I adore Vivien Leigh! It's a wonderful film and I love how the poignancy, both of her performance and her beauty, comes through in the stills you chose. Her outfits are incredibly elegant.

i've watched this film on tv,a remake. warren beaty = oliver martinez; vivien leigh = hellen mirren. it really was not a good movie, but oliver is hawt.
