It was Hermione’s turn to make dinner once again.
“Ugh,” Ron commented, wrinkling up his face as he took a tentative bite.
She knew it was hard out here, hiding in the woods where there were few sources of food and life, but they knew this quest wasn’t going to be easy. She worked hard, and she wished Ron could show a little more appreciation sometimes.
“Hey, it’s not that bad. She’s improving.” Harry smiled at her, and took another bite to show he wasn’t lying.
Harry never complained, and she never told him how much that meant to her.
