Let the Ficlet Trades
begin!

This community is for requesting and claiming ficlets. People who want to request a ficlet or ficlets, must then in turn write a ficlet for whoever writes theirs. Anyone interested should post three to five prompts with different fandoms/pairings. They should also post fandoms/pairings/genres/etc. that they can, like to, can't or won't write. Example, see http://community.livejournal.com/ficlet_trade/746.html. Someone will then respond to that post claiming one of the prompts. The claimer should state which prompt he's claiming and post three to five requests in return. If for some reason the original requester can not write for any of the claimer's requests, he can ask for more prompts to choose from. Multiple prompts can be claimed by multiple people, as long as the exchange remains even. There is no time limit on when ficlets are due, however you should probably finish any claims before requesting or claiming any thing else. You are welcome to give as much info in your requests as you would like, but do keep in mind that these prompts should be for ficlets, not series. If someone is really bunnied by your request and chooses to expand it, then that's their choice. Any questions, suggestions, or comments, feel free to email me at leiadianaminerva@gmail.com

P.S. Any non-writers that want to post a ficlet request may do so for a limited time, if they find or design icons, banners, or other pretties for the com.

Where do we post the fics when we finish them? Post the fics directly on the site. Please say in your post what the prompt was and who it's for. If you can, please tag it appropriately as well.
What exactly do you count as a ficlet? Between 100-500 words? 300-1000? Probably at least 500 words. I'm not going to put a maximum amount. "g" Basically it depends on the person, but I would like them to be at least 500 words.
