A/N: ‘Doctor’s Orders’ is a 1975 hit by Carol Douglas. According to Lostpedia the events of 'La Fleur' onwards take place in July of 1977. Based on that assumption, the timeline for this fic is Nov/Dec 1974, approximately 6 - 7 months after they joined. This ficlet was prompted by a request for cute roommate bicker-fluff, and the fact that I broke Juliet’s ankle and kind of need her to heal before I move on here. Plus I was kinda keen to see Juliet-with-broken-ankle fic.

So it occured to me after I posted what I thought was a pretty significant cliffhanger and got exactly one response (thank you, twinkeeper , you're a trooper!) that maybe I made a mistake putting that chapter at the end of a lengthy post filled mostly with scenes from cannon. I'm guessing many readers got bored about halfway through and stopped reading. Sorry about that.
Unfortunately, the cliffhanger marks a pretty significant break from cannon and affects the next several scenes, so I can't just forge ahead knowing I will be confusing everyone right away in the next chapter. So, I created a second cut link in that post that goes directly to the most important scene.
Sorry about the confusion.
Rating: PG-13 to R.
Keywords: Slash, Jack/Sawyer, Mpreg and a pretty good share of roughing up of Jack just because.
