- Uni fees are due and I'm struggling to pay them. Much stress.

- I hate my body, and don't believe it when someone, even Davide, says I'm beautiful or sexy or whatever.

- I've been freaking out over little things lately and crying more often than usual. Emotions have been a right bloody mess.

- Girls night tonight. Much Johnny Depp and Buffy (though not together... though that WOULD be interesting, wouldn't it?) and very much chocolate.

- AUCS Formal is coming up, though I have no idea how I'm getting there or coming home...

- Davide's been wonderful despite all the shit I put him through.

- Bentley ate my sneakers so I had to buy new ones.

- Davide bought an acoustic guitar. It's black and sexy and sounds beautiful.

Okay, I succumbed to Dragon Cave. I really didn't like the fact the eggs/hatchlings die if they don't get enough clicks (what if people rarely visit your journal or site in the first place? OMG.

I hate Fay. She is an evil storm.

The plan is now that the stupid thing is going off Florida's east coast, picking up strength in the Atlantic to become a hurricane, then curving right back to hit us in the Jacksonville area! Stupid thing! It'll be here on Thursday (day after tomorrow).

We're probably staying put, but we're liable to lose power if we do (it's very rare for us to have any side of a hurricane or tropical storm to keep power), so either way y'all might not hear from me. No worries.

Looks to be a happy couple of days stocking up and getting the supplies ready. Always is. We already have the gas tanks full, so at least that part of prep is down...

Anyway.

You've all, mostly, heard that I'll be going to Melbourne for the Manifest cosplay right event right?

Well we, my Mum, Amanda and I, have chosen to go by car and low and behold hell has come to earth!

We have six cars, SIX, and only two of them work... worked!

On Sunday afternoon I got a text from my Dad saying 'We lost all the gears in the car', now Mum's car doesn't work, we already knew that the car was going to die soon but we didn't think it would be this soon.

Then last night, last night, it was cold. The fog was so thick I could hardly see the hood of the car.

My Mum and I were in my Dad's car abnd were driving to Tea Tree Plaza (TTP) and it's about 30minutes away from my house by car, or maybe more, and while we were at the lights the car shuttered and then died.

Now right before we even got in the car my mum said to me "Where are your shoes" and I said, "I'm not getting out the car, I don't need them."

And then I needed them!

So we died at Tea Tree Gully (TTG) and had to call Dad to come and save us.

Dad came with Jason, and I asked them to bring my shoes, and tried to fix the car.

However by this time Amanda had been waiting to be picked up for over an hour and I was hungry.

In the end we had to tow the car home.

We left to pick up Amanda at 7.40 and got home at 1am and then had dinner.

The Fates' clearly do not want me to go to Melbourne. But I don't care if I have to skate my way there, I wil get there!

I just spent, like, forty minutes creating background around an image of Kashiyuka looking bored and adorable. Yes, I kind of love Perfume again and ended up saving over seven hundred images of them to icon yesterday, and yes, I do realize how sad that is. Anyway, it may be slightly crappy background, but it's THERE and so it serves its purpose. And I am probably taking some pictures of Kashiyuka's amazing goddess hair with me when I go to get mine done next.

I miss my BFFL. God, when was the last time you saw any kind of high-larious IM conversation snippets around here? :( Hi, panonychus. I saw this icon and it reminded me of you.

I fucking hate my high school.

I don't know how everyone else's school works, but for my school district, we have a thing called Magnet, where schools have special programs designed to attract students to come to that school even if they are not zoned to go there. My school's program is Research and Technology, it basically requires you to take a computer class every year. The thing is, my sophomore year, I was taken out of Health in order to take my magnet class. If I was never taken out of Health, I would have not only that class taken care of, but I would have taken Speech the second semester, and both Health and Speech are classes required to graduate. Now I'm a senior and I'm more than likely going to be in a class full of underclassman, which I am fine with, but not when it leaves me with a choice that is just too fucking difficult for me to take right now. My school schedule right now looks like this:

1 - AP Calculus (2 semesters)
2 - AP Economics* (2 semesters)
3 - AP Government (1 semester)
4 - Band (2 semester)
5 - Jazz Band (2 semesters)
6 - AP English (2 semesters)
7 - Office* (1 semester)
8 - Marching Band (2 semesters)

In order for me to go to school with my schedule like this, I need to get out of magnet since I am not zoned to my school. My family and I have already applied for a space available transfer which will allow me to go to my school if there is room. If I get rejected for the transfer, here is how my schedule will look like like:

1 - AP Calculus (2 semesters)
2 - Advanced BCIS (2 semesters)
3 - AP Government (1 semester)
4 - Band (2 semester)
5 - Jazz Band (2 semesters)
6 - AP English (2 semesters)
7 - Economics (1 semester)
8 - Marching Band (2 semesters)

PROS TO ME STAYING IN MAGNET:
- I get a cord for when I graduate
- I graduate as a magnet student
- I get to goof off in the computer class, which is a dual credit class that gives me both high school and college credit if I pass the class

CONS TO ME STAYING IN MAGNET:
- Regular Eco, which means I will get bored, will possibly fall asleep in the class, and still get an A.....is that really a con?
- Might have to give up the Jazz Band class if I still want to take AP Eco, which is a class I have never taken, makes my workload lighter, and would make being in the school's jazz band a lot easier than just going to after school practice.
- I get a computer class just teaches you about Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, programs I've known how to use since I was in 6th grade, and the college credit is only good at the University of Houston or Houston Community College

PROS TO ME GETTING OUT OF MAGNET:
- AP Eco class, which will challenge me, teach me both Micro and Macro Economics, allow me to "play" the stock market and allow me the chance to get college credit through the AP exam
- I get the Jazz band class
- NO FUCKING COMPUTER CLASS WHERE THE TEACHER TEACHES LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COMPUTERS, case in point, one computer teacher (my freshman year one) was teaching us Word and said something along the lines of "Now you see where it says Times New Roman? Well, if you click on that arrow, a list drops down of a lot of other different words. Those are fonts. A font changes the style of the type." ;; She got hit in the head with a mouseball later that year, which prompted the school to get optical mice. xD

CONS TO ME GETTING OUT OF MAGNET:
- I wasted three years in computer classes
- eiwjfajdfj THREE AP CLASSES IN ONE DAY
- I don't get to be a magnet graduate or get the cord
