Eventually this leads to sexxings of the Perry/Harry type, either through Harry realizing he likes pretending to be Perry's boyfriend or through Perry coming to his rescue when Harry accidentally attracts the attention of another man. Holiday time means Lord of the Rings to me, since they originally came out around Christmas. So I'm re-watching the movies again (okay, I'm early for holiday season), and that brings me to my request.

I love the scene in LOTR:FOTR where the Fellowship is traveling, and Boromir is teaching swordplay to Merry and Pippin. It seems obvious that by that time, the three of them are good friends. Any fics examining this would be great. The three of them doing more friend activities together - more swordplay lessons, history of Gondor, the hobbits talking about the Shire, whatever - that's what I'm looking for.

Please keep it G or PG, no slash. I'm looking for warm-fuzzy could-pass-for-canon friendship here. ^_^

I've been having a bad summer (involving doctors and hospitals), so I'd like a bit of a pick-me-up.

The fic can be from any fandom, but I'd like to see the theme of friendship between two girls/women. Situation:  In the last part of the show, Dr. Horrible has frozen Captain Hammer and he's terrorizing the crowd (while singing of course).  He grabs the Asian fangirl's face and says "I bring you pain, the kind you can't suffer quietly".  I'd like a fic set after the end of the show where Dr. Horrible is in a relationship with this girl, and I want that quote to sort of be the theme of their relationship.  Feel free to interpret it however you want. (Also, the girl doesn't have a name in the show, so you can name her whatever you want.)

And for anyone who hasn't heard of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, it's this wonderful creation by Joss Whedon.  It only has three episodes, and you can watch them legally, for free at www.drhorrible.com.  The entire show is only about an hour long, so really, anyone could take a stab at this request.

He brings Dobby with him, who becomes Harry's house elf. More than once, Dobby's the only reason Harry remembers to eat or sleep.

Eventually, Harry realizes his money's running out, and somehow or another decides to join a rock band. Preferably as lead singer.

What I want for my request: If the whole thing's not something you want to write, just use it as the base. What I really want to read is from somewhere just before Harry makes/joins a band up until just after he sneaks back into a more war-torn England using his tour as a cover.

Just keep Tonks, and Moody alive if you start mentioning death tolls please.
