| About: | January is Finish a Fic Month! Are you a rampant WIPer? Do you tend to have a hard time letting go of your fic? This is the comm for you. January is "Finish a Fic" Month. Face it, NaNoWriMo is great, but it'd be even better to actually complete a fic. Start the new year off right by actually clearing one of the fics you've been working on off your desk. Fics can either be original or fanfiction to qualify, but must be multiparters. There's three tiers to "Finish a Fic" on. 1 – The"Fic'ed Off" award. Just finish it already. The "true" FFM participant will actually finish something. 2 – The "I made a good go of it" writer. A writer that manages to add on at least 10,000 words to a WIP. 3 – It's ALIVE! award. The "Frankenstein" writer will resurrect a creation that hasn't been updated in over one year. Must have added 5,000 words minimum to the fic to qualify. Guidelines: 1 - Sign up on the sign up post. You have until Jan. 15 to make the commitment. 2 - Post the completed/continued fic by Jan. 31. The fic had to be started before Dec. 31... if you've got a new fic, that's great, but the intention of this comm is to see some older fics get finished off. All you need to do it join, and when you're finished a fic, post a link to it. Participants will receive a pretty button for their participation. | ||
