| About: | Not all members of fandom are young adults. Some of us are middle-aged fogies with children who aspire to be fangirls and fanboys like their moms. This creates a problem, for there is so little quality fanfic out there that is appropriate for children. What little there is must be loved and treasured and recced everywhere, and so this community is born. Recs for any fandom that is likely to attract the attention of the under twelve crowd are highly desired. And remember, these are impressionable minds, so make sure they are well written. I don't want my daughter exposed to graphic sex or violence in fics, but at age nine, misspelling and comma slices are even more damaging. She can always skim over sex scenes, but a tolerance for bad grammar will soak into her psyche. | ||
