Author Note: I don’t know why I like writing Grace babysitting so much... or why my titles suck so much when it happens, but I do. Mostly inspired by my godson’s uncanny ability to poop out of his diaper and all over someone.
prompt table and disclaimerAdam smiled slightly as Grace bounced his baby son, Daniel, on her lap. She was pretty good with kids when she was used to them. And when they were facing away so they couldn’t spit up on her shirt.
She looked down when she felt something warm on her hand. “Oh, dude,” she yelled. She almost threw Daniel out of her arms. “He pooped on me,” she said as Adam quickly grabbed the ten-month-old.
He checked the underside of his son and made a face. “Oh, wow. He really blew out.”
“Yeah, and all over my hand.” She stood, careful not to touch anything, and went to the kitchen to wash up.
Adam stood, cradling the messy baby in his arms and walked up the stairs into the nursery. Once in the room, he put him down on the changing table and looked at the now stained long sleeve of his t-shirt. Sighing, he pulled it off and tossed it to the floor.
Grace walked into the room, stopping when she saw him shirtless. “Do you always change your son while you’re naked?”
“It got on my shirt. Will you change him while I go get a new one?”
“Why? So he can poop on me again?”
Adam smiled a little and picked the dirty shirt off the floor. “He won’t poop on you. He might pee. But he won’t poop again.”
“I don’t do diapers.”
“You already sorta did. All over your hand. I’ll change yours someday after they poop on me.”
“Here’s the thing, I’m not gonna have kids.”
He smirked a little and walked out of the room. “Have fun.”
