[info]ff_fem_fest Round #1 is now open!

To start everything off we have a prompts post HERE.

Go ahead and submit prompts! By submitting a prompt you are NOT committing yourself to writing any fic. So if you can't write fic, but have some ideas for others to write, please share them with us here! Of course if you *are* a writer we want your ideas, too. ;)

I'm kind of sad that the FF femslash comms are starting to, well, die. I though maybe a fic challenge/fic fest of some kind might liven things up a little around here. I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in participating in such a thing? In one of my other fandoms, House M.D., they run a lot of character-oriented fic "fests" i.e. [info]chase_fest  (just to give you an idea), where everyone submits a bunch of prompts, and then people have a chance to claim prompts and at a certain deadline everyone posts their fic. If such a thing were to be organized for Final Fantasy femslash pairings (all FF femslash pairings, not just specific ones) would any of you be interested?

『 INTRODUCTION 』


You wake up with a painful headache to find yourself standing at the front desk of a hotel. A young woman wearing a hotel staff uniform smiles patiently and hands you a keycard with a room number on it before you have the chance to protest. She explains to you the basics of the city. As a resident of the hotel, you are exempt from the laws of the land and privy to things people in the city can't have. She's even nice enough to mention that you will be resurrected from death one week postmortem. Whether or not you choose to believe it is up to you.

You're welcome to stay in the hotel until "they" decide to allow you to go home. Everything you order on room service, available 24/7, will be charged to your tab and picked up by "them." No matter how many times you ask, she will be unable to specify who "they" are.

It's the year 2200 C.E., according to any man you ask on the street. Escape is only possible with a key. Welcome to Excursus.

Hi, [info]org_plotbunny is a new writing community meant for people to come together and exchange plot bunnies, put discontinued fics up for adoption and discuss plot developments for their fics. So if you have a fic idea that just won’t stop bugging you but you have no time to write it, or if you have a posted fic which you no longer have time or interest to write but would still want to see someone else finish it up, or if you have a half-developed fic or plot bunny that you have no idea on how to continue, this is the community for you!

Basically, we’re like a help group for fanfic writers. :) We’re open to all Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts fandoms, and we accept all pairings, be they yaoi, yuri or het!

I'm organising a fanwork-a-thon to encourage more Rinoa-centric fic. There's a post here for contributing prompts, which is open until the 11th of February. Once that stage is done, I'll collect up all the prompts into a list which people can choose from, and then people have until the end of March to write stuff.

Hope to see some of you taking part? :D Femmeslash prompts are good.
