Err... No people no.
No, please don't follow the bully to her personal journal and troll there. It's not different from those dudes who follow and flame the girl through FFR.

Don't waste your time and low yourselves to her level. It's not worth it.

Yes, I'm disgusted on her behavior but don't dance after her.

ETA: No further giving attention. I un-link it. Thought in general, even the said person is worst asshole/stupid idiot or whatever you can name,  trolling their personal journal is not cool.

Yeah, trolling her is no better.

I tried to comfort the girl at the Pit, but I left it at that.

And wait? Wait? She did all this as a social experiment? Brian, Nick and I are not amused. I won't be trolling her, but still. I can post my opinion here.

Yeah posting here is enough. Thought I'm not sure that old FFR rule is still effect or not. About not follow people to their personal journal and troll it.

If it's still intact, it's also risk to get banned.

Can I redirect a Russian satellite to land on the person's dorm house? It'll give the stinker the attention she desperately craves, and make me feel surprisingly good about myself.

You know, I think I've become too emotionally involved with this whole situation.

Damn. When she came whining to us on [info]ffrmods about being allowed to tell everyone it was a "social experiment," told her no.

But now you're giving her the attention that she wants. Is this really the best way to stop the cycle?

Then again, it's a hilarious excuse and she's completely unaware of why, and I do approve if your motive for posting this here wasn't actual concern, but a desire to share the lulz.

*elektra_alpha try to pass the office's block since it's pass lunch break.

*hang head in shame* I saw someone went after link and trolled there in entry. Then they came and posted "here is comment I left". No.

May I ask, is the no trolling personal journal rule still effect? Even thought it merges with rule# 8, but I still in doubt about that.

May I suggest that, if she ever asks to rejoin the comm, the mods consider it only if she:

1) Submits a report on "experiment", in correct APA format, with a complete statistical analysis, a considerably sized list of references, and a detailed disscussion section detailing how any labelling of her actions as science is completely ridiculous, and

2) Submits an essay on how, exactly, her "experiment" was a violation of the code of ethics all psychologists must abide by, and why that code exists in the first place.

Because mods handing out homework is fuuun. And kinda hot.

I left one comment after reading the link in another thread on this, but I have no intention of commenting further to her.

That said, while I understand and appreciate you trying to keep the peace and telling us to be the bigger people, I don't think yet another thread giving her even more attention was necessary, IMO.

Ugh. Are people really that pathetic that they flame 12-year-olds and BRAG about it? It's like a little kid coloring on the walls and expecting Mommy to praise their pretty picture, or a puppy trotting into the den with the slipper it just mangled.

But, trolling the person's journal's pretty lame, too. I mean, really.

It's not the first time it's happened on ffr... it's just the one that got so many people angry. There was this this one, for example (I only have a link because I left a comment congratulating the OP for accomplishing the great feat of heckling a 14 y-o.), and I remember other posts, too, where the kid may not have been flamed, but the OP left mean messages/reviews. (I specifically remember one post where the OP ranted about an author whose "excuse for bad writing" was "mom likes my fanfic"... of course everyone went on mocking and laughing at the author.)

...so yeah. This wasn't the first, only this time the OP was more of an asshole than the rest, and people went to troll the story.

Is this what a beeline to F_W looks like?

So the two little "experiments" were challenging the existence of reciprocity and the natural human readiness to educate the disadvantaged.

No shit, Sherlock. FFR has some unbelievably nice people.

Dear mods, you sure we couldn't keep her?

Day-um, that's some massive tl;dr, but what I can figure out from it before I lost interest was that it was all a social experiment to see if she could get herself banned from a ranting community. And she succeeded. Well, go her!

I don't mind giving attention to silly people. Silly people make my day brighter. Though I do wish they'd be a bit more succinct.

Oh, though... See the review she left on the story itself?

Hello, I'm maiyri, and I'm the reason why your story has had so many hits from LJ.

Me and the FicSquad teamed up, well, FS reviews are amusing so we went looking, and found this story, and decided that it would be the best one to use as an example, due to your age and due to the quality of this story, which is a lot better than most first stories for someone of your age. Well, that and I couldn't come up with an example on my own.

Anyway, this example was part of an experiment by my psych class to more or less see what people are willing to do on the net - would they say things that are meaner than what's said to someone face to face, and will they back up what they say with something to make the situation better.

Two posts were put up on FFrants, which I've been a member of for a while, using stuff from your story, MROS and FS's reviews and your review reply to FS. One discussed the reviews and replied itself, and one dealt with 'how would you do constructive criticism better'.

Anyway, I'd first like to say an extra huge sorry for providing the link to this story. That shouldn't have been done, and I realise now that it was just mean. Bad things were going to be said, but you really shouldn't have been dragged into the deep dark pit of the argument.

Saying that, you are only twelve, hon, and there are age limits for a reason - to try and keep you safe. By all means come back to this site when you are legally allowed to be on it, and in the time before your birthday why not rewrite and THEN repost this story to make it ten times better than it is now.

My most sincere apologies,

Maiyri.

TL;DR: "Dear child, you were part of a twisted excuse of an experiment. Despite your spirit and will to write being crushed, I would still like to offer this heartless apology and continue to mock you."

I agree she shouldn't be flamed or trolled, but she seriously needs a reality check since she still appears to think she did nothing wrong and is busily blaming everyone else involved. I posted what I hope is a rational criticism of her behavior and don't plan on going there again unless she responds.

Somehow I don't think she would get it. Saw what she said in [info]ffrmods, she does think she did nothing wrong for using some strangers for experiment without asking them first.

When I participated in experiments during my Freshman year of College (as part of my intro to psych grade), I always knew whatI was getting into, and I did it of my own volition. This was just appalling.
