Some quotes from the discussion:box_in_a_box started the madnessSee, it's a shame, because I keep thinking, as I've said on my own LJ, that there needs to be a story that brings together some of the more remarkably similar Marty Stus on television. Ideally, it would be the case that only the combined anti-social intellects of Adrian Monk, Dr. Gregory House, Det. Robert Goren, FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder and Doctor Who could hope to crack! Monk's phobias versus Mulder's paranoia! House's "Everybody Lies" versus Goren's Inevitable Final Act Mindfuck of the Perp! Everyone else's trademark Inability to Play by the Rules and Getting Away With Being a Bastard Because They're Always Right versus ... all the exact same personality traits in the Doctor! WHICH ONE WOULD WIN, INTERNETS??? gehayi provided the plot.Alien virus released by the Master in the New York-New Jersey area, and there's a possibility of a mutated strain in Baltimore, which gets L & O AND Homicide: Life on the Street involved, which pulls in not only Bobby Goren but John Munch AND his former department. And Mulder and Scully have been sent to New York to investigate this crisis. Meanwhile House and the ducklings are one of many diagnostic teams all over the country trying to crack this virus...only House is desperate to crack it first. Adrian Monk has received false information that there is a pivotal clue to Trudy's murder in New York--and he just about arrived and the Master started distributing the virus. Only thing is, Monk is immune to the alien virus, which means that the Master, Mulder and Scully, and House are all very interested in him. Ultimately, Monk ends up in Princeton-Plainsboro and drives everyone insane, including House. Also, the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones are working undercover at Princeton-Plainsboro, because things were starting to go wrong even before anyone realized that anything was amiss. And House is starting to like these two (inasmuch as he likes anybody), because they're very smart and know how to snark back. Oh, and the Master has transferred his consciousness into the body of Lucy Saxon. And the Master has altered this new body so that, while Lucy-Master is now female, she's also physically Gallifreyan. God, this could be cracktastic. And many, many others comntributed to the development. So, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} fanficrants, we've criticized the bad fic long enough; why don't we write a round robin crossover of epic proportions to put them all to shame?
