Welcome to ff_seasonal, a Final Fantasy icon challenge with seasonal themes! Each week a new challenge will be posted. This could be a holiday/seasonal theme (example: "Cherry Blossoms," "Spring Madness"), a seasonally appropriate texture or color to be used in the icon, or even quotes or lyrics that relate to the current season. In spring the challenges will revolve around spring, in summer, summer, etc.

Icon makers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

Rules

--You must be a member to vote/submit.
--Icons must conform to livejournal standards: 100x100px or less, 40KB or less, in .gif, .jpg, or .png format.
--Icons must be made new for the challenge. Don't reuse an old icon because you think it fits the theme & you want to get some extra mileage out of it.
--Don't use or showcase your entry icon(s) until the winners have been announced.
--Animation is okay by me, so long as you don't go over 40KB.
--Fanart and doujinshi can be used, but if the artist does not want his/her work modified, please don't use it. No hentai.
--All icons must use Final Fantasy images. Any Final Fantasy game from 1 to 13, Final Fantasy Tactics, Crystal Chronicles, Advent Children and other FF7 spin-offs are all acceptable. Please no icons from Final Fantasy: Spirits Within, as it is just . . . ugly. Final Fantasy characters in their Kingdom Hearts incarnations are fine, but no Sora, Kairi, etc.
--Even if you submit an icon/icons for a particular challenge, please vote! The more votes we get, the more accurate our results will be. And besides, voting is fun! Let your voice be heard. (Just don't vote for yourself.)

Submitting

--A new challenge will be posted every Thursday. Submissions will be due the following Thursday at 8pm EST.
--You may submit 2 icons each week. If you decide to make 2, please don't use the same style for both. Experiment a little!
--When submitting, include the image, the url, and the game & character. Like so:

Voting

--Voting will open Thursday night (or Friday morning, if I'm late getting the post up) and close Saturday night at 8pm EST. The winners will be announced soon after.
--Do not vote for yourself!
--Don't ask other people to vote for you, don't use multiple lj accounts to vote for yourself or your friends . . . be fair & respect the spirit of the competition.
--Vote for 3 different icons by leaving a comment in the voting post. (All comments will be screened.) Your votes should be formatted like so:
