Racking your brain and every Firefly comm you've ever visited for a story you didn’t put in your memories section and simply cannot find? Has every search engine failed you? Trying to find a 'Simon dresses up in his Alliance uniform as a part of a heist on one of the Border Worlds' fic? This is the place to ask.
This community is open to all genres, ratings, and pairings. Any request (gen/het/slash/rpf/csi) is welcome here. We ask that requests that are too explicit go behind a cut. Think 'would they say/show it on the show?'. If the answer is 'no', please put it behind a cut. If you don't know how to do a LJ cut, go here. Also, please put multiple requests in multiple posts, this should make it easier for someone to hopefully find the story you're looking for.
As an open community, we ask that all posts be public so that anyone who wants to can find fics, whether they actually belong to our comm or not. However, please don't post recommendations. There are communities out there that serve that purpose. If you know of alternate locations for a requested fic, such as an author's homepage, and wish to link that in a comment to the original request, that's perfectly fine with us. The more locations that are known, the less likely we are to lose track of our favorite fics. *g*
If you're looking for a crossover, please list what fandom it is a crossover with, plus a short description. Good: "I'm looking for a Firefly/Doctor Who fic where the TARDIS appears in Serenity's cargo hold." Not so good: "I'm looking for a Firefly/Doctor Who fic." There are comms out there for Firefly crossovers.
There are tags for each of the major characters, plus story type. Please use them, it will help users search through the requests. When your story has been found, it would be nice if you would add the link to your original post. And if a link leads to a locked community/post, please make note of that. A list of all the tags is here.
