Howdy everybody! I bring thee Icon Textures!!!
For the last few hours, I've been working on 10 100x100 textures for your icon-making needs. I just figured that I use so many, I better give back to the community soon!
A special note about these textures before I go on a posting spree:
THESE WERE ALL MADE USING NO OTHER BRUSHES, TEXTURES, ETC and SO ON, but MY OWN AND PHOTOSHOP's DEFAULT BRUSHES!!!
The only copyrighted material I used within these textures are comic book scans and covers-nothing more. So, please refrain from bitching at me about stealing something because I can honestly and happily say I didn't use any one's brushes, textures(etc and so on)!

My only requirements are as follows:
-Comment if you download and credit somewhere

-Please don't use these textures to create your own material to give out to the masses without my permission. I'll gladly give you the greenlight if you ask. By materials, I mean brushes, textures, etc and so on.

Well, I sketched out a few dark art designs I came up with while chatting with my friend Allison. I then realized that what I wanted to do would require me to come up with my own assortment of grunge brushes, so, here they are!

| Font References |

Decided to make myself a few font references since I'm tired of trying to figure out what looks like what, etc.
Anyways, I have four reference images. Every image has the font name written AS that font and if the font itself is too hard to read, than I've added the font name in 'Arial Black' to make sure you know what it's called. Every font is shown in upper case and lower case and I tried my best to keep all the 'A's' together, etc, but I had so many fonts starting with 'M' that some 'M' fonts ended up on a second page. So, sorry about that.
You're welcome to save these to your hard drive, but please don't take credit for them or show them off thru direct linking! Please comment if you find 'em useful!

This is my official request post and can be used to request icons, graphics, brushes, and even tutorials! If you just feel like giving me some ideas, then go ahead and do so! Please comment to this post and I should get back to you as soon as possible!
Please note, though, that if I have already done an icon similar to your request, I will simply forward you to that icon. If you still feel you want your own personal icon, then I can make it for you, though it may be at the bottom of my list of things to do. Deal...

Hey ya all! This is darkislight's new icon/graphics journal where you can find any brushes, icons, tutorials, etc I may post up or have created in the past. If you're looking for my graphic resources/credits, I should have a Resource post up soon with all that info. This community isn't open for new members, but you can friend it and then get updates with my icons, etc.
I make anime, Buffy/Angel, Lost, and other Tv Shows/movie icons. I also take requests for both icons and regular graphics.
