The Ferris State LiveJournal Community is a community for students of Ferris State University. Others who frequent the university, live in the surrounding area, have friends, siblings, or an unhealthy interest in the college are also welcome to join.
This community is the place for uncensored and unmitigated commentary, both on topic and off. Speaking your mind is greatly encouraged.
Rumor has it that President Eisler is briefed on some of what is said in this community, which means that it is having some influence among the University administration, however small.

1) All opinions are acceptable, encouraged, and unedited. If you're easily offended, you should have gone to Calvin.
2) Please refrain from posting sensitive information here. This most especially includes full names, room numbers, and phone numbers. If you do feel the need to post this information, please be aware of the potential risks and consequences of doing so. Certainly do not post anyone else's information without their express permission to do so.
3) No excessive harassment. Disagreements, arguments, and flaming are expected and even tolerated. Just keep it in its proper thread. Don't follow people into other posts just to argue or flame every post by an individual.
4) Moderators are not here to babysit. The community will largely govern itself. After a bit of time, members know who to take seriously and who to ignore; who is an asshole and who is a sensitive creampuff. Take it in stride, just like real life.
5) If you're new to LiveJournal, please understand that this community is not your personal journal. If you post mundane day-to-day activities here on a regular basis, expect to be encouraged (not always politely) to stop.
6) Please be aware of the LJ Cut. Use it and use it wisely.
