Facts

-Dad, Lee, was the keyboardist for the Righteous Brothers for almost 20 years

-Runs Gary Sanchez Prods with his friend and former SNL writer, Adam McKay. The pair have written Anchorman and Talladega Nights. They also launched the viral video site FunnyorDie.Com. One of the biggest hits on the site is 'the Landlord' a clip feating Will and his 'landlord', played by Pearl McKay, Adam's 2 year old daughter

-Graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in sports information

-Will was called 'Wilf' in high school, a combination of the first three letters of his middle name and the first letter of his last name

-was a kicker on Irvine's University High School Varsity team; Will still holds the record for the most field goals kicked in one season

-is an avid runner; has completed both the Boston and New York City Marathons

-Was the highest paid SNL cast member ever ($350,000 for the 2001 season). Was also the only SNL cast member to ever be given a send off at the end of their last episode. Will went back to host SNL in 2005

-Will has played 2 characters named Chazz: Chazz Reinhold in Wedding Crashers and Chazz Michael Michaels in Blades of Glory. He was not originally cast as Chazz Michael Michaels; Ben Stiller had orginally been cast, but opted to only produce Blades of Glory and pitched the role to Will. When co-star Jon Heder broke his ankle during training, Will fought recasting the role of Jimmy MacElroy, insisting he had signed on to work with Heder, 'among other reasons'.

-Will was part of The Groundlings, an improv group in LA. Notable members of the SNL cast to come from the Groundlings include: Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, Chris Kattan, Cheri Oteri, Maya Rudolph & Julia Sweeney.

-Steve Carrell (The Office, the 40 Year Old Virgin) and Will were up for the same spot on the cast. Will eventually won Lorne Michaels over.

Revealed. There is no word on a publisher or editor

-Will reportedly made over $40 million dollars in 2005, mkaing him the hightest paid actor in Hollywood that year.
