What is Feri?
Sometimes described as an "ancestor-worshiping sex cult." Or possibly "sex-worshiping ancestor cult;" nobody seems to remember exactly. The weird crazy bardic witches who have sparkles in their eyes and stains on their fingertips, and you don't want to know what from. The ones who value kisses over books, feathers over runes, and dreams over lore. Who sing pain out of wounds and gods out of trees. Who speak to serpents, elves and bankers as peers. (Well, maybe they don't always consider bankers worthy of being peers.)

Is Feri a type of Wicca?
Not according to most Feri initiates. Niklas Gander explains why not.
Other Faery-related Traditions:
There are a few pagan traditions that are partially to greatly derived from Feri (formerly known as Faery); some of them use "Wicca" in their names.
• Compost Coven was begun by Starhawk, a Feri initiate, and retains much Feri "flavor"
• Third Road is a Feri-derived tradition by Francesca di Grandis
• Draconian Pictish-Elven Witchcraft is a subset or offshoot tradition founded by Brian Dragon.
