How It Works
Each week, two pictures will be posted. Save the pictures and design icons out of them. You are not obligated to iconize both pictures. Use brushes, text, and assorted effects to create an original icon. Entries will be accepted from the time the pictures are posted (sometime Sunday afternoon / evening / night) until the deadline (Friday @ midnight, EST). Voting will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Winners will be posted Sunday evening sometime, and banners posted shortly thereafter. There will be First, Second, Third Place and Mod's Choice. If for whatever reason there was a small number of entries, then only First (and possibly Second) Place and Mod's Choice will be chosen.
Submitting Icons
Submit your icons as a comment to the challenge post (the one with the pictures). Comments will be screened, so make sure that you are commenting to the correct post. If you have any questions, please ask them in a separate comment from your entries.
If you are submitting more than one icon, please try to submit them in the same comment, if possible.

Or something to that extent, as long as you have both the image and the url in the comment. Including your username is not required, considering that I'll see it in the comment header, anyway.
Rules
1.) One entry per picture. Blending of the two pictures is not allowed. (If you enter an icon for one picture you are not obligated to enter an icon for the other.)
2.) Use only the images provided. You may use brushes, text, and assorted effects to create your icon. Mini-movie icons are not allowed. Animated icons are fine as long as the animation frames contain only the weekly picture (no other pictures).
3.) Some weeks, there will be two femmes, one picture each; other weeks, there will be two pictures of one femme. Rules one and two still apply: no blending of the two pictures, regardless of whether they are of the same person or not.
4.) Do not reveal your icon to anyone (so no posting in journals or using as a personal icon) until after the winners are posted. If you need somewhere to host your icon, I suggest photobucket.
5.) You may NOT vote for yourself, nor get your friends to vote for you, nor manipulate the results of the polls for your benefit or the benefit of your friends. If we suspect any vote is forced we will not count it. If we suspect there is any cheating we will disqualify that icon.
6.) Please make sure your entry fits LJ's standards. GIF, JPG, and PNG format. 40 kb and 100 x 100 MAX.
7.) No obscene language and / or sexually explicit content.
